General information:

Characters name: Cadsuane
Class: Druid
Race: Elf
Armory link: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Ghostlands&n=Cadsuane
UI screenshot: http://tinypic.com/r/205m34/3
Played Time on your character: 40 days, 17 hours, with 28 of those days being at lvl 80.
Profesions and level of professions: I have jewelcrafting and Leatherworking, both at 450 with various ulduar and epic gem recipes.
Do you have a stable internet connection (Yes/No and average MS in raids): Yeah I have a stable 10mg broadband connection, with an average ms of 100-150 at most times.

What other characters do you have? I have a lvl 80 rogue on this server- Elendai, my druid Cadsuane, a lvl 80 shaman named Nommy on the hordeside, and various other alts between lvl 60 and 64. all of the lvl 80's are equipped with naxx25 + standard gear.

Raid times and Experience:

We raid 7 days a week, days and times could possibly change in the future, please delete yes or no below depending on whether you would be able to attend or not. (server times)
Monday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Tuesday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Wednesday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Thursday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Friday 19:30-xx:xx - Yes (up until the raid finishes, no time is too late
Saturday 19:30-xx:xx - sometimes (I'lll be able to attend saturdays raids 90% of the time, however I do enjoy drinks with friends from time to time.
Sunday 19:30-23:00 - Yes

Do you have pre-WotLK raiding experience, if so what? I do indeed. I raided with my rogue back in vanilla wow, and cleared all of the content available back then with the exception of AQ40. I then proceeded to raid with a few different characters alliance side in tbc, clearing everything upto SWP, and killing upto twins in there, however I never got to see KJ. All of these clearences were done with both my rogue and my shaman. I didn't start playing my druid properly until WoTLK.

What 10 man and 25 man Ulduar bosses have you cleared and of which out of those bosses have you done on hard mode? I have cleared every boss in ulduar except algalon, and have made attempts on him on 10man. In 10man content I cleared every hardmode except yogg + 1 watcher, and thoroughly enjoyed the challanges they brought. On 25man content I have done the hardmodes leading upto thorim, and including hodir, however no further.

Character specific questions:

Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve then in the future. I have currently chosen my gear based on the most beneficial stats to my playstyle, which im told varies slightly to that of the normal resto druid. In BRB I was labled as a "nourisher", and thus I focused more towards a larger mana pool and increased haste on my gear, while still holding to the 4set bonus from the tier gear. I've been experimenting with different playstyles, although I've come to rely on this one much more consistently, so in the future I hope to keep follolwing this pattern, and boosting my haste and mana, as well as the spell power of course based on extra pieces and gems.

Comment on how youve chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants. As I commented above, I chose to gem primarily for spell power, as befits a resto druid in general, and opted for the spell power/haste gems in the slots that are applicable. My enchants are pretty bog standard stuff, spell power and haste enchants, with +10 stats on chest as well as the bonus spirit on boots.

What glyphs are you using and why? I have chosen to use the nourish, wild growth and swiftmend glyphs as my majors, again mostly because they suit my playstyle and I consider them to be the greatest buff I can gain. Nourish is an obvious choice because of the way I play, keeping hots up on targets and then nourishing to heal when players are dropping fast. Wild growth also fits into my "rotation" as a key raid healing spell, and I pesonally cannot see the downside to healing an extra raid member for free, especially when the fights can become quite raid healing intensive.
I've read quite alot of debate around the swiftmend glyph, and took it to use as a "last resort" scenario. Should a tank be dropping fast, they'll be needing all the extra heals they can get, hots included. So it seems invaluable in my perspective to keep any and all HoTs on the tank whilst providing a large instant cast heal, and thus can really save a tank in the last second, and avoid what may possibly have been a wipe.

I wont really mention my minor glyphs, every and all druids will mostly have the same bog-standard ones.

Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experience/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs? I have adequete gear for all 3 of my specs, including my two offspecs, for both tanking and boomkin dpsing. I understand the mechanics for both of these specs, and frequently change my offspec to play about with them, or use them for varying purposes. My feral offspec is the most "appropriate" of my offspecs, and the one that gets used the most, and I have tanked in the past too, so I can safely say that I make an adequete if not perfect tank. My boomkin experience is lacking, however i can mantain a fair dps output without too much experience in the spec.

We require you to have at least one crafting profession (not engineering). If you have two gathering professions, would you be prepared to reroll one? I already have two "raiding" professions Smile

General questions

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving? The only guild to date I have really been in was BRB. I was raidng happily amongst them with no incidents, and gaining knowledge and experience all the while. On the night of the 3.2 release, I broke my pc and it needed a major overhaul, needing many of the components to be replaced, and when I logged in on a friends pc to explain to BRB what had happened, I found the guild in tatters, with most of the "hardcore" members gone. I later found out that something had occured while id been gone, and all active players had left to join other guilds.
I play WoW to raid and advance, and with BRB in shambles, and unsure as to whether or not they'll regain their former glory, I believe its time to move on.

What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others? I feel I'm a very good raid healer, and a more than adequete tank healer also. I excell in healing a large number of players rapidly, and when working alongside a holy priest or another resto druid, the raid healing should be more than enough.
When I'm assigned to be a tank healer, should a paladin etc not be present, my HoTs, which are kept up constantly and then "buffed" by nourishes, can keep a tank alive through just about any scenario (this was in fact put to the test on algalon).

What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could? Besides the boring look of the tree form? I'd perhaps add in a second or more effective raid heal. A direct raid heal instead of an AoE HoT, as I feel even with nourishes, rejuvinations and wild growths, raid healing can get a bit intensive at times.
other than that, i feel my class has been balanced very well.

What do you think you can add to Eternals? I think I can bring eternals a strong and dedicated healer, with a good knowledge of the boss encounters, and the willingness to keep wiping persistantly until that boss dies.
I;ve been playing since the release, and I can safely say that I know a great deal about alot of the classes in WoW, even if the mechanics have changed quite a bit over the years. If somebody knows something I dont, im quite happy to take instruction if it means improving my character, however I have enough self awareness and belief in my abilities to go against the normal advice at times, and improve things that I believe will greater benefit my play style.

What do you think Eternals can do for you? I think Eternals can provide me a sturdy and reliable guild with which I can keep allowing my raiding skills to develop. Eternals have for a long time been known as a guild which excells in pve, and now I wish to add my name to your ranks. I want to keep seeing the new fights, and the lore behind those fights, and for as long as humanly possible, keep progressing.
Like I said above, I play WoW to raid, however its the lore that truely keeps me interested, as thiers nothing better than coming face to face in an encounter with one of your favourite warcraft 3 lore characters.

Personal infomation; Name, age, where you live, interests/hobbies, Job and family that will nag you to stop raiding?
Callum, 19, England- Hull, gaming/drinking/ socialising, and as of now and for the forseeable future- no job or nagging family members thankfully.

Additional information which you would like to name?
I've nothing else to really add to this application, i feel I've given everything I can. However should you wish to ask anything I may have forgotten, please do and ill answer to the best of my ability. I'll have my own pc back by wednesday hopefully, and I'll be ingame on Cadsuane should you wish to find me there also.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Regards, Cadsuane.

P.s I appologize fort any typos etc, I was writing this apply at 3am xD

Nice app, nice gear and spec, good luck with your app!

Only one question though: when I was still playing my druid in T8 content I found out that Rejuv & Wild Growth were marginally enough to keep stuff up (thanks to the 4-set bonus you also have), and Nourish actually breaks down that kind of healing, what's your view on that?
I'm wondering that, because I've actually never seen anyone use that Idol, but Idol of Awakening (mana cost of rejuv -106). Razz
It's just an opinion though, I had some share of thought about that back then with Hykos as well...

So gl! Very Happy

Further to Felhaya, were you a "nurisher" due to lack of direct healers or through personal play choice? We are very much in to druids as raid healers with ours doing between 5-9k hps through keeping hots on over 9000 people, do you think you are competent to do this as well as nourish?

I tended towards being a "nourisher" due to my playstyle and the healing classes ive played beforehand, however I dont think it would be too much trouble to adjust the way I heal, I can understand the reasoning behind that raid healing method.
It'll need a little bit of practice on my part, but as you say, with my gear and a slight adjustment with the idol, it shouldn't be a problem at all.

When I was raid healing, I tended to be more situational with the rotaton I used, and varied between using nourish and wild growth/ reju, so it wont be that much of an adjustment to make.
