Killing Spree weapon swap macro

Since Killing Spree (KS) is an attack that uses both weapons, its best to use two slow weapons for most dmg. I thought a macro would come in usefull, so we can swap weapons with the click of a single button.

I have been looking on a few forums, and this one seems to be the one that would work the best. Note that there is the global cooldown that prevents us from swapping back to the Fast OH after clicking the macro once.

/equipslot 17 <Slow weapon>
/cast Killing spree
/equipslot <Fast weapon>

To swap back to the fast OH the macro requires a second click. (I havent been able to try this macro yet since i was at work)

Tricks of the trade with focus

This is a macro to make things a bit easyer for us. Put your focus target on the tank and this trick will only require one click.

#showtooltip Tricks of the Trade
/cast [target=focus, help] Tricks of the Trade

Whole load of useful macros right here!!

*relevant to X-Perl users only*

I also discovered this afternoon that setting focus on the raid panel/team listings(right click) by passes the taint error you seem to get with the current release(3.0.5g).

I'm also thinking of starting some kind of petition to send to Blizz about improving the usefulness of Rogue Minor Glyphs.

For example, maybe one for each particular poison that extends the buff time by an hour...like Mixology for herbalists.

Considering how shite the current Minor Glyphs are it'd be a nice improvement...i'm joking about the petition obviously but it's a nice idea!!

I've always kept my poisons on my action bar in case I need a quick change or a re-apply durin' a fight(which can happen')

These macros allow you to left or right click once on the poison to apply it to main or off-hand weapons (left click/main hand-right click/offhand)

#showtooltip Wound Poison VII
/use Wound Poison VII
/use [button:1] 16; [button:2] 17

#showtooltip Deadly Poison IX
/use Deadly Poison IX
/use [button:1] 16; [button:2] 17

#showtooltip Instant Poison IX
/use Instant Poison IX
/use [button:1] 16; [button:2] 17

#showtooltip Anesthetic Poison II
/use Anesthetic Poison II
/use [button:1] 16; [button:2] 17

#showtooltip Crippling Poison
/use Crippling Poison
/use [button:1] 16; [button:2] 17

#showtooltip Mind-numbing Poison
/use Mind-numbing Poison
/use [button:1] 16; [button:2] 17

You could combine these macro's to one icon.

#showtooltip
/use [nomodifier] Wound Poison VII; [modifier:shift] Instant Poison IX; [modifier:alt] Deadly Poison IX; [modifier:ctrl] Mind-numbing Poison
/use [button:1] 16; [button:2] 17

True but I can't be bothered remembering the modifiers, simple right or left click for each poison is good enough for me Wink

Not like us Rogues don't have plenty of space on our action bars....
