Arena in 3.0

This post pretty much sums up everything goind wrong in arena right now.

The OP is too subjective to make it an interesting read. I didn't read all of it for this reason and just skimmed through. The guy just needs a soap box to stand on not access to forums, he places too much belief in that people want to hear his views on it all. That's fine and I'm doing the same here, only difference is this won't take over 9000 hours to read.

Alot of it was indeed subjective, but his opinions seem to be the same as many, probably 80% of official 'junkies'. Some things are obvious though, burst is stupid, only paladin healers can actually survive at the moment, that dosent mean anything paladins do is overpowered (altohugh mana regen is i tihnk) but rather its an entirly defensive class, so loses nothing from its playstyle with the current state, whereas the strength of a druid or priest was in offense too, which they cant do now as they have to entirly focus on survival.
theres a thread on AJ which is basially a petition, its hit 41 pages long now, asking to 'bring back chess' where arena was a tactical battle where each GCD was your 'turn' in chess and you tried to outwit the opponants, not just who can arcane barage the hardest. (thats my new word for burst).
So yeah, I think arena at the moment is pretty shit, arcane baraging faster than the other guys isnt a measure of skill, its an eitrely RNG dependant process. Like warriors Mace stun, which they had the brains to remove (and give to druids and mages O.o).

See, now your post is soooo much better than the one you linked. I agree with you, it's not really skillful on a whole atm, thats not to say you don't need some skill but that before as you say it was like chess and your moves and counter moves were vastly more important than they are atm. And double agree about the warrior mace stun, I played mace spec and said it was OP all along.
