Level 80 Death Knight tank not well geared, I focus on my hunter more than anything.
A few lower level characters aswell that I just play for fun.

Do you have pre-WotLK raiding experience, if so what?
No, I only started playing about halfway through TBC so I couldn’t find a raiding guild so I just casually pvped.

What raiding experience do you have in WotLK? Please include which bosses you've done on heroic mode.

Even though I had never attended or participated in a raid I was quickly thrown into Naxxramas by my guild as I made it to level 80 fast. I proved that I was a capable raider and developed many skills. Within the second month of WotLK I cleared Naxxramas 25 and Malygos 25 my guild had everything in patch 3.0 on farm except Sartharion 3D. When ulduar came out I got bored with WoW and decided to leave my account for a bit I returned and raided Ulduar 10 casually. I also raided ToC casually aswell. But by the time ICC came out I wanted to raid again full time I geared myself up and got into a fairly good guild. We progressed through ICC 10 steadily same in 25 man. I have cleared ICC 10 man and ICC 25 including The Lich King. I have done 4/5 TogC 25 and done the BPC 25 HC.

Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve them in the future, meaning which stats do you prioritize and why.

I play a survival hunter but I would like to respec to Marksmanship just as soon as I have reached the armour penetration softcap (I could use needle-encrusted scorpion but both my current trinkets are way better than that) . So at the moment I prioritise in stacking agility as it benefits my other main stats (AP and crit) also agility affects talents in the survival tree. I don’t focus on hit rating nowadays, as im hardcapped without the assistance of Focused Aim. I have a nice amount of crit which enhances my dps abilities.

Comment on how you've chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants.

I mainly stack agility as it is the best stat for my current level of gear and it increases other stats, it is also enhanced by some of my talent points in the survival tree. I use agility enchants wherever possible except for boots which I use Tuskarrs vitality which increases speed and stamina, the quicker I can get out of defile/malleable goo etc the less chance of a wipe and in the long run It will increase my dps as most fights in ICC require lots of movement so the quicker I can move to the place I want to be the more pewpew I can do. And in the items were agility enchants aren’t available I use attack power as it is the second best stat I can enchant with.
What glyphs are you using and why?
Glyph of Explosive shot – increases the crit of this ability by 4% it makes a massive difference in my dps logs the amont of crits this ability does is around ¾ of the time which is amazing and the crit increases the damage done by this ability by around 3k+

Glyph of Killshot – decreases the cooldown of this ability by 6 seconds now this is quite a substantial decrease in cd I chose this because many of the fights in ICC become more difficult around the 35-0% of the bosses health (Sindragosa/Putricide/Blood Queen/Possibly the Lich King as vile spirits are all over the show.

Could you point out the strong points and focus of your spec?
The strong points about my class are that I have Tranquilizing shot, now without this ability the shambling horrors on p1 of the LK would enrage unless a rogue see’s to it but my class is more effective and if it enrages then the OT starts getting hit like a truck and if shockwave comes = dead OT and dead raid. My class specializes in threat evasion and threat transfer so if I build up to much threat I can easily feign death and remove it all and if there is an aggro whore frost DK or ele shaman or something I can just pop a Misdirection on the tank and theres nothing to worry about. My class also does imba burst dps this could be useful for sindragosa when the ice tombs have to be broken or on the LK when the valykrs spawn or when the vile spirits spawn.

Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experienced/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs?

Yes my gear is suitable to play MM spec I can also re-gem to suit MM spec even more and I know the mechanics of MM spec. I use macros to help me increase dps for example /cast auto shot /cast steady shot


We require you to have at least one crafting profession (not engineering). If you have two gathering professions, would you be prepared to reroll one?

I only do mining my other profession is JC which is quite low but would be willing to increase the level if required.

What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?

I can do insane burst damage at range which is useful in some fights. I have special abilities to transfer bosses/adds onto tanks I have numerous slowing abilities and can interrupt if in MM spec.



What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could?

What do you think you can add to Eternals?

I can share my raiding knowledge and experience I can give others advice and I don’t stand in fire etc pewpewing the boss like most hunters I make sure other things have been taken care of before settling down to dps. I am active and can make most if not all of the raids. I bring flasks/repair gold and other raid supplies. I wont QQ about wiping for weeks on a boss ( I wiped something like 100+ times on the LK so it doesn’t bother me).

What do you think Eternals can do for you?

I think eternals can one day put the “Light of Dawn” title next to my name and get more realm firsts like in 3.0.
Do you know anyone from Eternals who might have something nice to say about you?

Deepfocus (raided with him since 3.0) and Fireboi if he still plays.

Known this guy since I was level 28 in TBC, a good player, knows his stuff and keeps up to date with theory of the class. Plays well, putting out nice dps while avoiding what needs to be avoided.

100% sure he would be a beneficial addition to the guild, and our heroic progress.

Only thing I'd flag up is why do you have a glyph of improved aspect of teh hawk on your SV spec. Wouldn't be as bad if you actually had talent points in it, you should change that to the serpent sting one, an extra 2 ticks and extra time to refresh it in.

Your explanation of killshot is a bit bizarre too, it can't be used until the target is at <=20% health, so it has no relevance from 35% - 21% and the macros you list don't seem the best of choices. As a hunter you should add a dot with your first attack really in my opinion as MM my first macro is to /cast auto shot /cast serpent sting. For SV its probably the same choice, but you could do it with black arrow too, with black arrow that first explosive shot and SS are bumped up on damage.

Would be good to see your rotation priority just to back up displayed knowledge because the imp hawk glyph has brought that slightly into question. Also you're only 3 ArP (or 2 JC gems) off of the cap needed to be able to reach 100% ArP with the needle encrusted scorpian.

Good on the face of it but a few strange inconsistencies, and an overtendency to feed us the information like the officers don't know how hunters work. Not necessarily a bad thing, no mention of the frost traps which can be useful for the valkyrs on LK and distracting shot to help try and kite the adds on saurfang.

So whilst theres no obligation to explain these to me, it would probably help your app further if you did though and the issues are:
Why the improved aspect of the hawk glyph?
What are your explosive shot and aimed shot macros?
What were you on about with the 35% kill shot thing?
Are you in the know about the other CC stuff and just forgot to mention them or not been needed to do them before?

Well the reason i have the hawk glyph is because i jsut recently respecced and i took the points out of improved hawk. Ive been playing around with the spec a bit. But need to replace with glyph of Serpent/Steady. I know that killshot cant be used until 20% but with fights getting harder around that percentage of health it becomes quite useful in the hunters rotation. Especially whilst on the move.

My rotation is black arrow >serpents sting > explosive shot > aimed shot > spam steady shot until explsv shot is available. I also use kill command and rapid fire obviously.

The reason i dont use frost trap for valkyrs is because my GM told me not to as it covers up defile.

And ye i do use the serpent macro you have i was just giving an example

that is a fail rotation ....
cuz the are some fights where u cant keep that "rotation" , if u would have used the prio on spells that would be more pro and show that u have more exp... prio on spells is the most important to maximeze your dps to the limit
no prof for raiding... from my exp if u want to enter a guild like this u need 2 max lvl raiding prof to improve your raiding effectiveness
your spec is ok and glyphs on surv if u go with that MM spec pls change it u have some point that u dont need and some u missed that is a must

yeah u are trial on SoL to from my point of view that is a fail ... i dont know what is the policy of the guild... so i will let the officer judge this

And the frost traps on valks can easily be fixed by having everyone deselect projected textures. Other than that I know nothing about hunters other than the fact they all seem to be nelf male...

Yea, Kpa is the more specialised in knowledge of SV hunters.

The reason we're all nelf males is because a lot of instances say if you are a hunter you must be this big to get in, dwarf and female nelfs aren't tall enough, and nobody wants to be a half pidgeon (the pidgeon chest) half horse draenei.
