Do you have pre-WotLK raiding experience, if so what?
mainly my pre wotlk stuff was on my hunter .. such as Molten Core, Kara, Tempest keep, BT, and lots more classic raids.

What 10 man and 25 man Ulduar bosses have you cleared and of which out of those bosses have you done on hard mode?
10 man everything downed except yogg saron//algalon as i took a prolonged break from the game due to RL issues.
tried several hard modes but the guild i was in although good.. would not sacrifice certain members of the raid team to further progress this let everyone down and stopped progression in its tracks.

25 man ulduar i believe the first quarter maybe a bit more. back then i was only raiding 10 mans due to a poor computer but my new one has opened up new worlds :p

Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve then in the future.
due to my horde guild i have left for faction transfer i was limited to 10man raiding, and pugging 25 mans.

~Deathspeaker Zealot's helm ~ best available drop so far in ICC 10 high str + crit and haste alongside 2 soxx including meta made it a winner and betetr than my previous Tier9.
~Barbed Ymirheim Choker ~ god what can i say.. horrendous neck but i lost every roll on every neck drop ive had. in statweight it beat my previous 226 neck though so i chose to upgrade to it mainly due to to the green stats. Need to replace this badly!
~DK T10 shoulders~ great stats, red socket bonus of str plus a fantastic Unholy buff from the 2 piece set bonus gives a great overall dps boost in ICC, the only thing id want to upgrade to is a hihger version of the set.
~Saronite Gargoyle Cloak~ i chose this initially instead of the EoF 264 cape as it gave me breathing room to gather emblems to get 2 piece t10 and to gather saronites for crafting the 264 boots/legs i am needing. great stats overall for unholy though. crit haste + red socket bonus of str i couldnt go wrong as a temporary back.
~Gendarme's Cuirass~ the only roll ive won in ICC 25 so far lol. a very nice Death knight chest with good stats, high str + crit .. and the added hit rating is nice but sent me wayyy over capped*this could be fixxed with a trinket drop easily enough i am persuing either; whispering fanged skull , deaths verdict or deathbringers will.
~Titanium Spikeguards~ they were one of BiS when i got them and i never won the ToGC pair but these have continued to be a nice piece.in need of upgrading but had no wrist drops in raids as of yet. they were flexible for both my previous specs of blood and unholy. the ArP scales well with Scourge sStrike now along side Blood Strike and is a viable choice of stat for unholy dps.
~DK T10 Hands~ mainly bought to grab that tasty 2 set bonus which allowed me to go UH reaping. good stats as expected of Tier pieces but the hit was not really needed, but the 2 piece set bonus outweighed any other options i personally had.
~Flesh Shaper's Gurney Strap~ the spoils of my first ever rotface kill. chosen as it outweighed all stats and increased the dps output of my last equipped belt. the only viable belt i have had drop for myself so far in 10 or 25 man.
~Legplates of the silver hand~ while the stats are fairly good on this piece no viable upgrades have subsequently dropped for me.
i am keeping these while i save saronites to have the 264 ones crafted as their stats severly outweigh these. hoever these have served me well while i have been wearing them.
~grinning Skull Boots~ terrible boots .. no gem slots... average stats. all i can say si they were better than my previous ulduar 226 boots. i am saving to craft the 264 pair unless i get an ICC 251/264 drop beforehand.
Trinkets~Greatness is just an incredible dps boost in unholy and is only outweighed by the previously listed trinkets imo. so as far as upgrading this trinket goes i will not want to do so until i get get one of those afformentioned trinkets. the proc is fantastic and a large booost to Damage and AP + the static equip effet of 90 str gives a ncie equivalent of 180AP ontop of itself.
~Mark of Supremacy~ horrible and id love to get rid asap the only reason iam using it over an expertis/use trinket is the 1000AP use function. this scales well with my gargoyle and is a significant burst dps boost. plus reusable for guaranteed timed dps bursts throughout an encounter. would gladly change this for a good proc trinket such as deaths verdict, deathbringers will or even whispering fanged skull//needle encrusted scorpion as a last choice.
~Ramaladni's blade of culling~ this is a very nice weapon for death knight imo and i have chosen this weapon over citadel enforcers claymore for its stat boost and dps, when coupled with Victors call i am expertise capped which helps mildly towards dps and the ArP is a nice addition, the DpS on the weapon + green stats + its STR and sockets are the main reasons i chose to use this weapon.
~sigil of virulence~ i chose this due to not having any ramp uptime.. the proc is very nice and boosts dps significantly. the lack of any ramping uptime makes it a very prominent choice in battles where lots of movement is key. i will however purchase the EoF vendor one for stationary boss encounters as its dps increase is slightly higher and it would in that scenario be a better choice.

Comment on how youve chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants.
fairly standard melee dps pve enchants except due to being hit capped i chode to drop icewalker in favor of 32AP for the dps boost.
i took 23 haste over 22 agility on cape because haste outweighs the benefts of agility slightly for a dk and it the best dps output choice imo.
i chose to add 15 str to my gloves instead of 44ap as STR scales better on a DK it addsa dmg by itself and then 2 ap per point also. overall a slightly larger dps boost.

What glyphs are you using and why?


Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experience/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs?
current offspec is a PVP spec as i enjoy pvping.. but i have had previous Tanking offspecs in all the trees. i was a regular offtank in ulduar for my old guild and in toc/ony on first release on occasions. my preferred tankign spec was blood due to the large amount of threat it produces compared to other trees. something like a 55/7/9 build using Death Strike over obliterate for maximum heals/TPS generated. then again i am not 100% up to date on ICC tanking specs and would be happy to take advice and specs into considerationg from more experienced icc tanks.

We require you to have at least one crafting profession (not engineering). If you have two gathering professions, would you be prepared to reroll one?
Jewelcrafting 450 recently powerlevelled but adding epic patterns daily!
Enchanting 450 with most availiable enchants except ulduar 25 drops ... never got my hands on those sadly.
since these are great raid proffs i would prefer not to reroll if i could help it but i am open to persuation

General questions

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving?
Deadly Shadows ~ horde side guils i have just left. i left this guild due to the lack of raiding//progression and 25 man raids available. the GM subsequently took time out and as all other major guilds on horde side have folded.. except 2 i decided to give alliance a go. and am enjoying it
previously to this i was an officer in Static ~ we raided during ulduar and toc just being added into the game and were rogressing rapidy through ulduar and were the 3rd horde guild to get to yogg saron .. leadership issues caused the guild to go under and i left due to new management .. subsequently /gdisbanded
My main guild throughout my time in WoW was Team Hippo of which i was main DK dps and class officer. i spent alot of time here but as naxx drew on people got bored and alot of oldies quit the game or server transferred. including the GM .. next GM ran it into the ground. it was a real shame.

What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?
unholy has great survivabily due to bone shield, steady and large amounts of dps output in 25 man raids especially and the added buff of ebon plague bringing a 13% increased magic dmg debuff against the target basically buffing all casters magic damage dealt by 13% and effectively increasing their dps subsequently. i believe my raiding experience, skills and awareness are what set me aside from most other dk's. i dont have a tendency to make stupid mistakes .. i make sure i know what i should be doing and where/when.


What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could?
moar dps ofc.. who wouldnt
i would personally give my class the ability to use a shield for tanking better. block/avoidance etc
or i would give my class some more usable buffs like blood has for burst dpsing.

What do you think you can add to Eternals?
i think i could bring my experience, skills and personality into the guild. i am a very friendly person who enjoys the social aspect of the game as much as the raiding side of things. i liek to speak on vent and get to know ppl. and i am always up for helping out wherever i can!


What do you think Eternals can do for you?
besides the gear side of things. eternals seem liek a well established, firiendly and unique alliance guild
that i feel i would slot perfectly into. anyone i have come across from the guild has been very friendly!
unlike others which i wont name. i love raiding and i love filling my free time with it. im a gamer and have been all my life.
im always striving to get the most out of my character and the best gear possible and i believe you could provide me with this opportunity whilst being in a friendly warm environment!

my girlfriend also playes the game and lives with me and our son who is 2 1/2 yrs old. i dont see any problems with me raiding as she is usually doing the same :p

Additional information which you would like to name?
although my tankign gear is non existent right now i realise i will have to be taking it in turns to fill a tanking spot. Ronab ensured me gear was not an issue. besides this my ICC progression has been held back due to my previous guild.and as of current i have cleared 6/12 with experience on 3 more bosses. all of which were nearly downed with stupid wipes at around the teens %'s.
this got frustrating and is why i left.. i want to be somewhere where everyone knows their roles and classes well and can actually play their characters. ive always found raid awareness and communication to be key in downing bosses and i believe i will find it here with you guys

I set my sights high as i know what goals i want to achieve.

i dnt know if i mentioned in the application but, i have an expertise trinket that caps me out .. but ive been experimenting and greatness works out better .. as does the 1k ap boost every 2 mins from the mark of supremacy so i think i might just go with t10 legs when i can afford them. =]
