Borisx - Survival hunter (Reconsidered - Accepted)

UI screenshot: Well I can’t provide 1, but I will explain it: I use Bartender and X-perl, which I’ve made my ui very simple with and so I got a lot of free space to see what the hell is going on in front of me ^^
Played Time on your character: 92 days and 11 minutes (this is due to that my paladin was my main through most of WoTLK – that will explain some things later on too btw.
Profesions and level of professions: JC 450, LW 450.
Do you have a stable internet connection (Yes/No and average MS in raids): Yes I do.. I have about 60 MS, so I never have any lag problems.

What other characters do you have? I have a lvl 80 rogue and paladin – 79 (soon 80) warrior as well.

Do you have pre-WotLK raiding experience, if so what?
(This is all on my Hunter as it was my main through all of TBC)

Classic: Never played it, which I regret.

TBC: I cleared Kara, 4/6 ZA, 5/6 SSC, 3/4 TK, 4/5 MH, 4/9 Bt, 0/6 SWP (this is all before lolpatch btw.) I cleared ZA, SSC, TK and BT after lolpatch.

WoTLK (hunter): I cleared naxx10 and a few bosses in naxx25, 10/25 OS – at the start of WoTLK. At the end of this summer I swapped main back to my hunter, then I cleared 9/14 uld10, 12/14 uld 25, 5/5 toc 10/25. killed the first boss in togc10 (just been unlucky on getting on a team for it) and almost got him 25man with FTW.

WoTLK (pala): naxx10/25, OS10/25, EoE 10/25.

What 10 man and 25 man Ulduar bosses have you cleared and of which out of those bosses have you done on hard mode?

9/14 Uld10, 12/14 Uld25. All the bosses I have done in uld10, I have also killed on hardmode. I have killed 12/14 uld25, done FL 4t, XT, Hodir, Thorim and Freya+2.

Character specific questions:


Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve then in the future.
Well I go for agi, stamina, int, ap, crit and hit. For Haste and ArP I’ve mixed it a bit, but I will go for Haste in the future due to that ArP isn’t helping much if you don’t stack it and because my top dmg ability is a magic dmg spell, so I rather wanna take haste for faster Steady/auto shot attacks.

Comment on how you’ve chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants.

I am gemming agi all the way – 15agi/10sta in blue sockets IF the socket bonus is good. For yellows it’s 10agi/10crit IF the socket bonus is good. I also use 1 Nightmare Tear in a blue socket.

I have socket this way because Survival is based on agi and for that reason I’m also socketing agi.



What glyphs are you using and why?
I use Glyph of Explosion shot, Kill shot and Steady shot. Glyph of Explosion shot for the exstra 4% crit as Explosion shot is my top dmg spell. Glyph of Kill shot for shorter CD, so improve my dps even more when bosses comes lower then 20% HP. Glyph of Steady shot for 10% exstra dmg when Serpent sting is up as I spam Steady shot when everything else is on CD.



General questions

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving? I started out in some Danish guilds, which I left because they we’re noobs. Then I joined TKOTT, which I left because Shagrack (the GM) went on a vacation for about a month and when he got back almost everyone had left, so I left as well. Then I joined Beerform, which I left because: As you may know Khiraen first tried to recruit members in FTW to join his own guild, which failed and Oldator kicked him, so he started hanging out with us from Beerform as we progressed quickly though BT and after we killed Illidan, he started /w’ing the best people in Beerform (including me, but I declined him) and almost everyone joined him and then Beerform was dead, so I left. A bit after WoTLK release I joined TKOTT again (after Shagrack had gotten the guild up running again), but then he took a vacation again and made Bigtoad GM and after we had cleared naxx10, so I left again. Then I swapped main to my Paladin and joined The Three Realms, which I left because people started to slack too much and there was like no progress at all for weeks. Then I joined FTW, but they didn’t really need a pala healer after all, so I became social and about the end of this summer, I decided to swap my main back to my Hunter and I started raiding with FTW and got several HMs and stuff, but then Oldator couldn’t take it anymore and then FTW decided to quit recruitment and stop the guild and keep it’s glory and pride and then I joined BRB, but that has shown not to be anything for me, so I’ve decided to leave them and have been looking for a new guild for a few weeks now.


What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?

Well I can provide several things as hunter, such as Aimed shot, MD’s, Hunter’s mark,mp5 buff to 10 players in the raid as Survival and Trueshot aura as MMS if I should ever spec that again. About areas of strength, I think hunters is the best class to kite (besides tanks ofc) on range, because we can run and shoot at the same time, BUT we also got a taunt shot. And I can range pull with MD and help them get aggro on adds or summit on range with MD.



What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could? I would like to change MD to maybe 10 shots instead of 3 shots.



What do you think you can add to Eternals? I can come with suggestions if something goes horrible wrong or summit like that and the buffs I wrote above and ofc a Friendly funny player.



What do you think Eternals can do for you? Well, good progress raids and a funny bunch ^^

Well my RL name is Søren, I’m 18 years old and still lives hope, I’m interested in diffirent kind of games, but also RL friends and being social. I have no job, but I go on what Americans calls College – well my parents much tell me to keep quiet or shut down due to school day, but they’re only doing this when it gets near midnight.
