General information:
Characters name: Bérg
Class: Druid
Race: Night Elf
Armory link: Bérg's Armoury
UI screenshot: My Interface
Played Time on your character: 71 days
Profesions and level of professions: 450 Leatherworking and 450 Inscription
Do you have a stable internet connection: Yes, around 60ms in raids I think

What other characters do you have?
Bergthor - 80 Warrior Tank, used to be my main, now horde side, just play casually.
Eatmorepies - 73 DK, moved to horde side as well, don't know why really, don't really play him.
Bergetta - 80 Shammy got her to 80 and never really played her since.

Raid times and Experience:
We raid 7 days a week, days and times could possibly change in the future, please delete yes or no below depending on whether you would be able to attend or not. (server times)
Monday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Tuesday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Wednesday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Thursday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Friday 19:30-Early hours - Yes
Saturday 19:30-Early Hours - Yes
Sunday 19:30-23:00 - Yes

I would typically like to have Friday or Saturday off to go out with friends.

Do you have pre-WotLK raiding experience, if so what?
I started playing towards the end of TBC and levelled in a guild called Mercians formed by some RL friends which some of you might remember. With them I cleared the following in TBC on my warrior Bergthor:
ZA
Grull
Maggy
3/6 in SSC
2/4 in TK
2/6 in MH

What 10 man and 25 man Ulduar bosses have you cleared and of which out of those bosses have you done on hard mode?
Rerolled my Druid for WoTLK and cleared the following with Mercians.
Naxx 10/25
Maly 10/25
Sarth 2D on 10/25
Ulduar 10 - 10/14
Uldaur 25 - 2/14

Sadly Mercians split mainly due to lack of numbers for the 25 mans, hence 2/14 on 25 man. A bunch of people from Mercians then joined up with Critters where I cleared the following:
Sarth 3D on 10/25
Ulduar 10 - 13/14 including Glory of the Ulduar Raider
Ulduar 25 - 13/14 on 25 man with Obituary, Ignis, Heartbreaker, Iron Coucil and Thorim hard modes.
ToC 10 - 5/5
ToC 25 - 5/5
ToGC 10 - 4/5
TOGC 25 - Not attempted

Character specific questions:
Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve then in the future.
I'm pretty happy with the balance of my gear at the moment, I have the Tier 9 set bonus but 2 of the items are the iLevel 232, so obviously I would like to upgrade these. Once I get those pieces I can definitely afford to drop some of my spirit/spell power gems where the Spell Power socket bonus isn't that much as the gear has more spirit in the base stats. Also with the 4 set bonus I'm concentrating on getting some more crit rating whilst keeping my haste up as well.

Comment on how youve chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants.
I try to go for pure spellpower gems/enchants where possible.

If a socket bonus is a decent amount of spellpower I would gem as follows
Red: Spell Power
Yellow: Spell Power / Intellect
Blue: Spell Power / Spirit

If its a crappy bonus I'll just put a pure spell power gem in. I choose the Intellect + Mana back meta gem as the mana return is great.

All of my enchants are best in slot. As I was saying about getting my crit up for the 4 set, I have recently gone for the crit shoulder and head enchants, instead of the traditional regen ones usually chosen by most.

What glyphs are you using and why?
Glyph of Swiftmend - A must have really
Glyph of Wild Growth - Adds an extra Wild Growth, nice for raid healing.
Glyph of Rejuvenation/Nourish dependent on if I was group or tank healing, but usually Rejuvenation

Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experience/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs?
I have good feral DPS gear although weapon has crappy enchant and gems are only hald epic. I hold my own on the DPS charts and keep myself up to date with mechanics, mostly using Fanthom's guide on the WoW forums. /Arse Licking Off

We require you to have at least one crafting profession (not engineering). If you have two gathering professions, would you be prepared to reroll one?
Got 2 raiding profs. The bonus I get from each is on a par with most other professions as its pure spell power. I think I may get 1 less SP than JC or something but nothing to worry about.

General questions:

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving?
Don't really want to flame my old guild as they're all lovely people. Its nothing personal, if you want to ask me do it in a whisper.

What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?
HoTs are my primary strength, they are so versatile and example of this is when healing the tank in the middle on Yogg. I apply Lifebloom before they run into the middle and when they take damage from the explosion, the heal will bloom and top the tank up whilst i'm out of harms way. I suppose the other great thing about a druid is that most of our heals are instant casts meaning I can heal on the move and though silencing effects like Ignis or Freya hard modes.

Thought I'd add something about my healing style here as this seems the most logical place.

You can probably see from my interface I have mouse over macros set up from 1-5 and F1-F5, this enables me to move around with the WASD keys, and hover over my raid frames to heal. I have a keyboard with extra keys on the left hand side where most of my oh shit buttons are assigned to.

If I am assigned to raid healing which I usually am, for most heavy damage fights (eg. Iron Council/Twins) I rejuv as many people as possible and wild growth when off cooldown and swiftmend, nourish spike damage as well as keeping a few HoTs on Main Tanks if there's time. For OOC procs I cast lifebloom to get the mana back from the bloom.

If I'm tank healing I will stack lifebloom slowly and let it bloom and keep as many HoTs on as possible, swiftmending, healing touch/NS or nourishing spike damage and chuck a few raid heals out as well.

What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could?
I'm always whinged at for Druids being OP. I think my spec is quite balanced. Hmmmm, get rid of tranquility and give something else because I never use it, don't think anyone does! Give new tree forms actually as well.

What do you think you can add to Eternals?
Without blowing my own trumpet, I consider myself a very good player, I always read up on tactics and I am receptive to constuctive critisism if you think I can improve. I know I can be a valuable addition to the guild.

What do you think Eternals can do for you?
I think I am ready to step up to the next level and would love the opportunity to join a proper end game raiding attempting hard modes as farming ToC normal every week is frankly boring.

Personal infomation; Name, age, where you live, interests/hobbies, Job and family that will nag you to stop raiding?
My name is Tom, 26, I work for an insurance company as a pricing analyst, lots of boring maths and spreadsheets and the like. 9-5 so no problem with being back for raid. I am a big football fan, I support Oldham Athletic who are a crappy 3rd division team who used to be in the premier league, I still live in hope will reach the glory days again! I used to have a season ticket but I'm currently saving up for a deposit to buy my own place so I don't go anymore. I'll be going out on the beer a lot less as well as times are going to be tight for the next year. I'll have WoW to keep me occupied tho

Additional information which you would like to name?
If you feel like you've read some of this before, you are right. I applied in April but was convinced by my old guildies to give Mercians another go so I withdrew my app. I feel I've improved a lot since then so prefered to do a new app.
