Northrend Beasts

Composition

3 Tanks
6 Healers
16 DPS

The tank class doesn't matter so much, it's all about the gear. Pallies probs have the advantage due to lots of blocks, argent defender and loads of self cooldowns. They will invariably take less damage too.

You will need 3 tank healers and 3 raid healers. Druids obviously pawn at raid healing but can be done by CH shammy and holy priest.

A pally healer for tank healing is good because of beacon and their quick heals. A RP/LHW shammy is also very good as have really quick and powerful LHW which when crits reduces physical damage by 10%. Disc priest is also a good choice but other classes can fulfill the roll aslong as they can spam small heals for long periods of time.

The DPS need to be SHIT HOT. No wasters and the more synergy the better! The classes aren't important so long as they all work well together making sure the raid has ALL the buffs each class has to offer. Your DPS should be 6k+ with only some strong buffing classes slightly less.

Phase 1

Positioning:

Tanks: Tank him where he comes on but sideways.
Healers: Raid healers spread out around the room, Tank healers where ever is best for their range on tanks.
DPS: Melee behind the boss as usual and ranged spread as much as possible in range of boss.

What happens:

Boss spawns, he applys a debuff on tanks which stack up to 10. This debuff called impale will do increasing damage dependant on the amount of stacks. Snobolds will throw fire bombs at random members which leave a fire patch on the floor. The boss will throw snobolds at random raid members who latch on the back of people and interupt them and do some minor damage along with stunning.

Tactics:

Tanks-

You need a rotation between your 3 tanks, they should taunt off each other in a rotation that allows them to not recieve more than 2 stacks of impale. They should sort out defensive CDs for when the boss gets lower.

Healers-

3 Raid healers will heal the raid, making sure to heal up anyone who takes fire damage and keeping rolling hots on the tank.

3 Tank healers will use quick heals on the tanks, they can casually heal to start but around 50% need to be more concentrated healing on whoever is tanking.

DPS-

Melee DPS should strongly focus down the boss. Retlols should stay on the boss the whole time as to not let their vengence tick off. If you get more than 2 snobolds, the melee need to help out. If any of the melee get a snobold then the melee should help kill it too.

Ranged DPS need to spread out around healers and they should be the mobile ones. They focus down the boss untill a snobold spawns and then they kill the snobold. They must move out of fire straight away.

Phase 2

Positioning:

Tanks: 1 tank should take dreadscale to the right of the arena and 1 should tank acidmaw where he stands. Both works should be faced away from the raid.
Healers:Raid need to occupy areas where they get most coverage. Tank healers should be in range of their specific tanks.
DPS: Ranged DPS MUST be the ones to move around and create the biggest range without going in front of a worm. Melee should create 2 camps at the rear of the boss to avoid spreading of damage and should never stand in green shit.

The center of the arena should be left clear for a burning bile tank to stand.

What happens:

2 worms spawn. They have 2 different styles that they switch between. 1 worm will be stationary and shoot spash damage attacks and the other will be mobile with a frontal cone attack. They switch between the 2 each burrow phase. The first stationary worm is Acidmaw and will do paralytic poison on a random raid member which is splash damage and will cause the paralytic debuff meaning that the person/people with it will become paralysed within a short period of time unless the debuff is removed by someone with burning bile. The mobile worm to start with will be dreadscale and will do a frontal cone attack which debuffs people with burning bile. The mobile worm will also lay green shit on the ground around him which deals alot of damage. The worms will burrow after a short period of time and when they emerge again, they will switch styles with acidmaw becoming mobile and dreadscale being stationary. Rinse and repeat.

Tactics:

Tanks-

The start of this phase is very tank orientated and good communication is key. 1 tank will pick up acidmaw and tank him facing away to the left. The other 2 tanks will take care of dreadscale first. The first tank will kite dreadscale off to the right of the arena, once he gets burning bile; the other tank will taunt off him and the burning bile tank will go stand in the middle of the arena for people to run to him for debuff removal. They will switch places each time one tank gets the burning bile debuff untill after the first burrow.

After the first burrow and the worms switch styles, the tank who is tanking acidmaw WILL get the paralytic debuff and when he does, the spare tank that isn't tanking dreadscale will need to taunt acidmaw untill burning bile is in play again. The tanks need to rinse and repeat the burrowing phases untill acidmaw is dead and then its just a case of nuking down dreadscale with their imba prot damage.

Healers-

You need 1 tank healer for each tank in play (2) with the other one preferably being a pally who can danish bacon the acidmaw tank and heal the other in play tank. You again need quick heals and alot of them. Make sure you are in a position to reach your tank and tell DPS to fuck off if they stand near you.

Raid healers should be spread around the room to reach everyone.

DPS-

Melee need to go on acidmaw untill he is dead, with 2 camps at the bottom of the boss. NUKE NUKE NUKE! Hero will be used on acidmaw, when he is out of play the fight becomes lolable. If you get paralytic poison, run to center of arena.

Ranged need to spread out as much as possible and again go on acidmaw untill he dies, NUKE NUKE NUKE! If you are a mage and get the paralytic poison then you need iceblock to remove asap. Never stand infront of a worm and DO NOT over aggro.
