Re: 8. Mimiron
Suggested Raid Composition:
Because of the various aspects of this encounter there has to be a little more than the standard style of composition.
1-2 tanks (melee) - Any class of tank should do, although higher health will help with the Plasma Blast, and an AoE tank might be useful for Phase 3.
1 tank (ranged dps) - A ranged dps class ideally with a high amount of stamina.
1-2 kiters (ranged dps) - The ideal class for this role is a Shaman due to the slowing effect of Frost Shock. Although a second might not be needed it can be useful if dps isn't fast enough.
5-7 healers - In addition to high tank damage, there will be a lot of damage around the whole raid so raid healers will be useful as well as some specific healers for the ranged tanks.
13-17 dps - Due to various melee range abilities that the boss does and melee dps being unable to hit the Aerial Command Unit, ranged has a clear advantage here.
Strategy:
Phase One (Leviathan MKII):
To begin with the encounter is a fairly straightforward tank and spank. Have the boss tanked directly in the middle of the room, and spread your healers and ranged in a cirlce aroud him. This will help minimize the damage from Napalm Shell, and if your ranged all remain 15 yards or more away from the boss they should never have to move for Shock Blast. The mines will spawn just outside of melee range between the ranged and the melee, so the tank and melee dps need to be wary of these when moving out for Shock Blast. The mines will despawn eventually so keep avoiding them.
Healers will need to watch for Plasma Blast on the tank and keep him alive through it.
Phase Two (VX-001 <Antipersonnel Assault Cannot>):
Have the raid spread out as much a possible in a circle around the boss to minimize damage from the various sources. Healers need to be spread evenly to deal with all the raid damage.
The main way to die in Phase 2 is by failing to watch for rockets. These will shoot up from the boss and then fly over to someone extremely quickly. Everyone needs to watch for missles and if they see one coming to their side of the room simply move in 4 yards in any direction. If you are unsure as to the direction that the missle is going, be safe and move 4 yards regardless.
While the boss can use the P3Wx2 Laser Barrage in Phase 2, he doesn't seen to very often and you may reach Phase 3 without getting one. Regardless, be ready, and if you see him begining to cast Spinning Up, get as far as possible from the front of him and stay away. Ideally get directly behind him. He will turn with the barrage, but never complete a full circle so this is an ability which is very easy to avoid.
Phase Three (Aerial Command Unit):
At this point it seems that free for all loot is required to allow cores to be picked up.
At this point the boss will be in the air and out of reach of melee, so for the most part the melee should focus on the adds. This is the phase that requires both a kiter and a ranged dps tank.
Your pre assigned ranged tank needs to pick up the boss and tank him. Have healers watch be watchful just in case the damage is too much for the tanks health pool. Once threat has been established ranged can burn the boss until the first Assault Bot Spawns.
The adds will spawn from the various spawn points around the room. These are the circles on the entrance paths to the middle of the room, and there will be a spotlight which is either orange or green over them when an add is about to spawn. The orange spotlight means Assault Bot, and your kiter needs to watch for this and be ready. When they have some basic threat this needs to be burned down. They are not immune to any slowing or imobilization effects so if needed be ready to use these, although a slowing effect will be needed to allow kiting.
The green spotlight will spawn the other two forms of adds, and aside from tanks picking up Junk Bots, these are not too important. The Bomb Bots will run randomly around the raid and then explode, simply avoid them.
Once the Assault Bot is killed, someone needs to pick up the Magnetic Core, and use it under the boss. This increases his damage taken, and allows melee to dps him for 6 seconds.
Continue this until the Aerial unit is defeated. If you have any adds left, use the phase transition to finish them off quickly.

Re: 8. Mimiron
Phase Four (V0-L7R-0N):
The boss combines all previous section into one, and retains most of their seperate abilities. Each section remains targetable separately. The first three phases serve as a learning curve for this last phase, and there is nothing new here to deal with. The way to deal with each ability is the same as all the other phases but you must learn to deal with them all at the same time. He will not spawn adds in this phase.
The ranged tank will still need to tank the Aerial Command Unit, and the melee tank will need to tank the Leviathan MKII. He will not cast Plasma Blast on the main tank anymore, but there will be a lot of raid wide damage because of Hand Pulse.
Shock Blast still requires melee to run out, also still avoiding the mines, and the laser barrage will be cast so watch for it and get ready to run behind him. Rockets will still require you to move 4 yards, so still watch for those.
The only real difference in this phase is having to defeat each of the sections at the same time or they will repair. Have your dps get them low, and watch the percentages careful as you finish them off. Also remember that melee dps still cannot reach the Aerial Command Unit, so it might be worth assigning specific ranged dps to destroy that.
Hard Mode / Additional Loot:
At the very back of the room is a large red button, when this is pressed the Hard Mode is engaged. This requires the boss to be killed in 8 minutes and gives him the following buff:
Emergency Mode: Damage and Health increased by 25%.
