Everything clear except for Ulduar&ICC, ICC10 i'm at 10/12(stuck due to sucky guild), ICC25 about 4/12 or 6/12, did lootship on heroic, same for rotface, didn't down but about 20%wipe.

Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve them in the future, meaning which stats do you prioritize and why.
On my dk I'm focusing on stamina>parry>dodge, def capped, so don't need more of that, stamina so I can endure more hits from bosses, parry after that to take less damage and to get more rune strike procs, then dodge, last one because of the -20%dodge debuff in ICC, which rly brings it down, and i benefit more from parry due to this.

Comment on how you've chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants.
Gemmed&Enchanted to get the most stamina that I can get my hands on at the moment.

What glyphs are you using and why?

- Glyph of Death&Decay, more damage from D&D which gives lots more threat.
- Glyph of Howling Blast, When AoE tanking I just spam HB&BB(never had any problems doing that), and the frost fever given by HB cuz of this glyph is usefull for more threat.
- Glyph of Rune Strike, more crits from rune strike=much more threat

Could you point out the strong points and focus of your spec?
Frost tank is more focused on taking less damage and on AoE tanking, Frost DPS is simply the best DK DPS spec imo.

Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experienced/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs?
My offspec gear isn't great, it's simply "ok", I know exactly how to play frost dps so mechanics of frost dps isn't a problem at all

We require you to have at least one crafting profession (not engineering). If you have two gathering professions, would you be prepared to reroll one?

I'd level up my JC if i had the gold to do so, So yeh, I'm prepared

What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?
Tank, DK tanks are probably the best Aggro machines in the game at the moment, spam 1 ability 4-5 times and u can just stand there without losing aggro for 2-3minutes


What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could?

What do you think you can add to Eternals?
My tanking and/or DPS'ing, according 2 my guild (Epics inc) I'm a great tank, my DPS isn't that bad either, compared 2 my gear for DPS.


What do you think Eternals can do for you?

Additional information which you would like to name?

Even though I am still young compared to some other people(possibly), I'm quite mature, I always listen to people who have constructive criticism, I (barely ever) argue about anything unless i'm 100% sure that the other person is wrong. If there really isn't any place anymore for frost tanks, I am willing 2 change spec to unholy tank, but I will be needing some help on that, never been unholy ever.

If you want to know anything else that I might have been inaccurate about or haven't stated at all, feel free to whisper Nobbynonutz/Arthurdeath ingame to ask how I play, etc.

Without even looking at you app properly, I need to know you are prepared to be DPS a lot of the time, tank some of the time.

If you are only interested in tank most of the time then I will be honest with you, it's less likely. Tanks are the lowest number players in any guild, we want to rotate our tanks around but we will always use the best class or best geared for each fight. Being flexible by playing DPS means that we can always take you and you will constantly upgrade your gear.

Also your glyphs just aint right for a tank. Your much better off with unbreakable armour for a further 5% armour which works out around another 2k armour. You shouldnt really need D&D glyph. your better taking the improved D&D.

Also your whole tree is a bit strange for tanking. No rime etc is just about strange. And u shouldnt need improved icy talons since thats up to a shaman dps to give that buff to a raid team and not the tank.

Thats just my two cents on this application since im the only other DK with proper tank spec in the guild

Well, honestly, I never had any complaints about it, then again, I never have been with another dk tank in a guild before. Anyways, this is a spec I created completely by myself. One of my first custom specs ever. Anyway, I saw in the recruitment thread that you're looking for unholy tanks only. So if my tank spec would be needed, I would respec to unholy anyway to fit the guild needs.

The T10 issue, that's purely bad luck on loot in VoA and I've been using my EoF's to gear up my priest at the moment.

The glyphs, well, glyphs are new, and I never really took the time to figure out which glyphs are better, more usefull etc. So, I just took the glyphs which were for frost and fit for tanking, simply the glyphs that seemed most usefull to me.

Please take note, my current/old GM never even bothered to look at my spec or glyphs, so I never had a comment on that specific issue, and when not having someone to correct you're possible mistakes, it's quite hard to know what is right and what is wrong. So, if you could help me out on fixing my talent tree and those glyphs of mine, that would be awe-some.

Right, after I posted the previous reply, I've had a go at making a custom unholy tanking spec, if you, Kordin, could have a look if I missed anything, could you tell me then? I don't know if the gargoyle would be usefull as a tank, so I didn't put it in that spec (unless it's needed).

I just wanted your opinion before I actually respec ingame.

I'm not the one to decide what gets recruited here but if the recruitment message says that they want a unholy tank i must guess that it's outdated, blood is the top spec when it comes to dk-tanking in ICC, when you count survivability and singletarget tanking, i.e. main-tanking, frost coming a bit behind and last and worst unholy.

Anyways, the spec you linked in unholy, you didn't choose to put full points in "outbreak", which would be more damage on scourge strike, the main strike used as unholy, did you actually read what it does?
You picked glyph of death grip, seriously? The one and only time it's actually good is leveling and that's it.
You didn't even pick vicious strikes, 30%scourge strike damage and 6% crit, come on, can you start to see how bad the threat would be in that spec?
Desecration which only slows and doesn't help at all, even if it were LKHC25 on val'kyrs you wouldn't be able to slow them as a tank and therefore it's useless.
On a pale horse, stun reduction and mount speed, pvp much?

Another thing, regarding your frost tank spec..
I agree with Kordin that death and decay glyph doesn't provide much of a gain in a 25-man situation and it probably should be replaced. I hope you're having the howling blast glyph for heroics aswell since relying on HB to refresh frost fever (which is quite stupid since icy touch does sooooo much threat now) ESPECIALLY when you havent even specced into epidemic, meaning that your diseases last such a short period you most likely wont be able to refresh them with HB(Which should only be used on Rimeprocs, which you also haven't even specced in...) Instead the glyph of obliterate is your best choice, it's a pure damage/threat increase and the best of them when it comes to frost tanking, i can't see how you missed it ;o

TLDR, your glyphs should be Obliterate, Rune Strike and the last could be different depending on the situation, froststrike for moar tps, UA for a more defensive approach(this glyph will eventually be useless with better gear since you will be hitting armorcap, 75%, fluffy buffed in raids +the normal UA) or Dark Command, for those ugly misses on taunts


But seriously even if the recruitment message is outdated you don't seem to know how to spec ;/ Of course that is easily learned and all.

i would be a little concerened about the fact u said u are spending all your frost emblems to gear your priest, u have applied to a hard core raiding guild, and u are gearing alts b4 u have finished to gear the char u wish to apply with? i find this a little odd to say the least.

@ Impman, as I have said, I'm crap with choosing glyphs etc.
Other then that, I'll be honest, I'm enjoying healing with my priest more then I enjoy my dk these days. Hence why I've been using EoF's on my dk to get PS's for my priests boots. Although, I struck a deal with a friend of mine, so I can buy 4 PS's off him for 250g each(not saying who =D). Thus, I'm not spending anymore EoF's on my dk untill I get that 4 set bonus, after that... I think I'll be gearing up my OS(dps).
Anywayz, as Tightbriefs has said, if I make it, I'll be needed to DPS more then I'll have to tank. So if I make it in, I'll have a (kind of) dilemma, since I'll have to choose to either finish gearing my MS(tank), or gear up my OS(dps) first, since I would have to DPS more.

Anywayz, if the recruitment thread is indeed outdated, and you're looking for a blood tank, I'd be happy to try that out, always wanted to try blood tanking anyway.

If you truly knew your class (which you should do if your applying to a hard core raiding guild) then you would of known unholy tanking in icc is a complete waste of time because it relies totally on mitigation like dodge which is hopeless with icc de-buff.

Then you turn round and say your enjoying your priest more than your dk yet your applying with that even though your not trying to gear it up properly...Sorry but that just aint right for this guild. Also not knowing glyphs....there this magic thing called the internet which has a magical creature called google which can help u in whats the best for ur spec.

Well, I know how 2 play my dk, how to gem&enchant it, it's just talents and glyphs that I find hard to choose in, I've had this on all of my char's, even my old main, my hunter... Other then that, there's a lot of people on the internet that put in bad info, like bad talent tree's which don't make any sense (I once saw a priest holy tree which was supposeably for PvE raidhealing, looked at it and turned out, it was a PvP holy spec). Other then that, there's lots of glyphs that are usefull in one way or another, so on every site they'll tell you something else.

Recrutiment thread isnt outdated we are lokin for a Unholy tank, reason is we neded one for specific fights although we manged without.
You are not what we are lokin for atm good luck in your search for a guild.
