Informations from PTR (Remember that until we got something serious from live servers, its not guaranteed that fight will follow exactly same mechanics.):

Seems like an easy fight to me.

Tank & spank with a mix off:
Whole raid gets damage every 2 sec,
linked beams -> running to eachother to get it off,
don't die in ur fire,
Bite someone within 50 sec to boost their dps -> to not get MC'ed.

basically some1 gets the buff then after a minute has to bite some1 or be MC'd.

now 2 ppl have the vampire buff and have a minute of dps buff before they need to bite 2 new ppl to reset the clock.

4...

8..

If 1 of the 2 afflicted people dies at the "2 vampires stag"e you essentially add another minute to the clock (as long as dps doesnt slack this shouldnt be needed).

How many ppl get the initial vampire buff in 25 man?

does this help? Since we have a lot of problems with the biting order etc.

A long ass Macro to fill in for the raid leader to assign who bites who.

Priority List - Fill in according to highest to lowest dps

Melee List

Melee1
Melee2
Melee3
Melee4
Melee5
Melee6
Melee7 (dependant on your setup)
Melee8 (dependant on your setup)

Ranged List

Range1
Range2
Range3
Range4
Range5
Range6
Range7
Range8
Range9 (dependant on your setup)
Range10 (dependant on your setup

Pre-pull macro showing the 8 biters their raid marker they shall follow:

/rw [Melee1] > {rt1} | [Melee2] > {rt2} | [Melee3] > {rt3} | [Melee4] > {rt4}
/rw [Range1] > {rt5} | [Range2] > {rt6} | [Melee5] > {rt7} | [Melee6] > {rt8}

Bite Macros, to be pressed once the previous bite has been applied.

**Queen bites melee 1**

1st Bite Macro

/script SetRaidTarget("[Melee2]", 1);

2nd Bite Macro

/script SetRaidTarget("[Melee3]", 1);
/script SetRaidTarget("[Melee4]", 2);

3rd Bite Macro

/script SetRaidTarget("[Range1]", 1);
/script SetRaidTarget("[Range2]", 2);
/script SetRaidTarget("[Melee5]", 3);
/script SetRaidTarget("[Melee6]", 4);

4th Bite Macro part 1

/run SetRaidTarget("[Range6]", 1);
/run SetRaidTarget("[Range7]", 2);
/run SetRaidTarget("[Melee7/Range10]", 3);
/run SetRaidTarget("[Melee8/Range9]", 4);

4th Bite Macro part 2

/run SetRaidTarget("[Range3]", 5);
/run SetRaidTarget("[Range4]", 6);
/run SetRaidTarget("[Range5]", 7);
/run SetRaidTarget("[Range8]", Cool;

here is the site and how it works.

Update for Heroic Mode:

Video: Nothing new and amazing to see here, the fight in itself remains virtually the same.

So what makes this heroic mode different from normal? As with all ICC bosses, Blood-Queen Lanathel gains alot of hp, however the enrage timer remains the same. But that's not the main change. The main change is Presence of the Darkfallen. This means, for every person with the Vampiric Bite debuff, BQL's Shroud of Sorrow gains 5% power. As the fight progresses, the raid will take more and more damage.

Key points for this fight are:
- Do not stress out the healers by taking avoidable damage, react quick when you get Pact of the Darkfallen or Swarming Shadows and make sure to be spread out properly during the airphases.
- Check the healthpool of the person you're about to bite. The bite does considerably more damage and can kill someone when bitten on half health. If needed, call out on vent to top off that person.
- Maximize dps output (no slacking on double-potting please ;o)

Nice info (got much time on your hands? Razz), thanks Su Su!

*Was gonna post this on every single one, but decided that might be a bit OTT. So just accept this in reference to all the research you done!
