Blood Princes Council
Some start for learning the fight - video from PTR. Remember that until we got something serious from live servers, its not guaranteed that fight will follow exactly same mechanics. However I expect some good videos as early as on Tuesday.

Re: Blood Princes Council
Update for Heroic Mode:
Video:
Raid composition and general positioning strategy are the same as for the normal mode of this encounter. (note: in comparison to *our* usual boss positions, it would be handy to have Taldaram somewhat closer to Valanar than we're used to) However, in addition to the increase in mob health pools and ability damage, there is also a new debuff introduced in this encounter's heroic mode, which will require that every player pay just a bit more attention to their position and the positions of their raid mates. This debuff is called Shadow Prison, and it affects every player in the raid.
Essentially what this debuff does is make it so that every person in the raid needs to plan their movements well in advance, and not move more than absolutely necessary. If a player DOES need to move more than a few steps (for example an assigned ranged DPS running to attack a newly spawned Kinetic Bomb, or a player running away from an Empowered Flame), then that player should be sure to communicate to the healers that extra healing will be needed. Even in those situations that require prolonged movement, the players moving will have to stop before they reach 12-13 stacks, or they will likely 1-shot themselves with a huge tick of shadow damage. Note that because the Shadow Prison deals only shadow damage, the player assigned to tanking Keleseth is essentially immune from this debuff's effects, and can move freely, so long as he/she has 3-4 Dark Nuclei in tow.
Also important to know is the Kinetic Bombs will come down faster than on normal mode, and combined with the movement limitations, this means ALL ranged dps have to be on toes, look for the Kinetic Bombs dropping and if it's in your range, dps it.
This fight is not a dps race, it's about surviving.

So going to love tanking this on 25 man heroic as well as being almost immune to the debuff, teleport ftw.
25 Man should also be alot easier on the Kinetic Bombs (alot of issues on 10 man)

Re: Blood Princes Council
A warlock would have a easier time on this boss with up to 50% less walking (teleport) and there amazing magic mitigation talents: soul link(20%) + glyph(5%), Molten skin(6%), master demonologist(10%) and finally nether protection(30%).
Did 10 man heroic without dieing due to tanking, just annoying kinetic bombs

Trema, with 3+ of those orbs on you, the Shadow Prison won't even affect you if you decided to go for a walk around the entire room. You'd have plenty of shadow resist.

Re: Blood Princes Council
Even though tanking heroic boss as a warlock is awesome id guess that's quite to risky to do ;/ Keleseth's shadowbolts deal a hell of a lot of damage and you basically need someone with sick amounts of hp (generally a tank, druid/dk preferably prob.). Like Subeam said with all the nucleus's on you moving around shouldn't be a problem, just like in tenman you can run around like a squirrel on ecstasy and collect your nuts as you wish, as long as you watch the imp. whirlwind-shiz ofc.
