basically some1 needs to turn into the abmon (not sure how long it lasts and whether or need we need a rotation of ppl) and slow the adds down. Raid needs to avoid the gas clouds (to avoid aoe damage) and group up on those pinned by the oozes (to share out damage across more ppl). DPS need to kill the adds. Meanwhile tanks need to keep moving the boss.

Yeah so it seems, also that abom seems to be up the whole fight? But its just a simple tactic of switching sides and nuking adds when they come up 'quickly'

Apologies for the wasted attempt last night, I'd completely forgotten in all the excitement of a new boss that we only had limited attempts - I feel like a right tit !

Mutated Transformation
The diseases from the Mutated Abomination is inflicting 4.5k damage to nearby players!
1 Eat Ooze
Eats nearby Mutated Slime decreasing the size of the pool, giving you 4 Ooze energy!
2 Regurgitated Ooze
Movemend speed decreased by 50%.
Inflicts 8288 to 8712 damage every 2 sec for 20 seconds.
3 Mutated Slash
Inflicts 100% weapon damage instantly and reduces the target's resistance to physical damage by 4% for 20 sec. Stacks up to 5 times.
Mutated Transformation

I highly recommend using Enchant Boots - Tuskarr's Vitality, for this fight.
Wiht the amount of movement involved, 8% runspeed can be a big improvement in your dps/healing and survivability.

Professor Putricide is getting two hotfixes deployed right now.
One of them fixes an issue where the Mutated Transformation and Mutated Plague ability were doing significantly less damage in 25 player mode than intended. Mutated Transformation was actually doing less damage in 25 player mode than in 10 player mode!
In a separate hotfix affecting both 10 and 25 player modes, Tear Gas should no longer cancel player abilities such as Devotion aura. Instead of being totally immune, players now take 99% less damage. This also means Heals over Time spells will continue to work while Tear Gased, Dispersion will grant mana, etc.

just checked on mmo-champ about the new armory update thingy and i noticed that the warlock who was linked( A grand crusader with icc gear) was specced into Curse of exhaustion, i didnt find anywhere if the oozes/gas clouds can be slowed by other things but the abomination. do you guys know if they do? because if its possible that can be something to help since the oozekilling was themajor problem, atleast when i was there.

Just wondering if with malleable goos it would be better if we could sort a more compact set-up for the range. Not stacking because otherwise the disease goes like crazy, but perhaps 2 large groups of the range split with a 10 - 15 yard gap between the two groups. Just seems to me it would help the range to be able to shift as the malleable goo would then be in a more condensed, if it was set up more like
(Big open space) <- range group A -> (10 - 15 yards) <- range group B -> (Big open space)
I know the fight is done, but from a range perspective you can run from one malleable goo and inadvertantly right into another as you can't be aware of the positioning of some 15 other people. Add-ons like Hudmap only show you 1 malleable goo splash zone, and losing people in this phase is still a problem some times. If people were closer together and moved more in unison and then went back to a designated spot, it would make it easier for some people who struggle and because at some points, the ranged can become so dispersed that it leaves you with little space to move into.
