Re: Lord Marrowgar
Seems a pretty easy fight with alot of similiarities.
The fire trail - Supremus and Archimonde
The icicles - Yoggys contrictor tentacles
Whirlwind - Some other boss i can't remeber but he does the exact same - Think Blade Storm

Re: Lord Marrowgar
Leotheras's whirlwind, as it also leaves a dot ^^
As it seems to be 3 spikes per time, id say 2 MT healers (beacon paladins one beacon per tank and healing the other) and 3 healers for raid/spikes, maybe safer to take 6 for some general fire/whirlwind bleed healing but could probably get away with 5 on normal
edit: deffo 6 actually incase healers get spiked and cant heal themselfs

Re: Lord Marrowgar
When we did it on the ptr it was basicly:
DPS spikes > Move from whirlwind > DPs boss
Pretty simple
DPS spikes > Move from whirlwind > DPs boss
Pretty simple

Re: Lord Marrowgar
Update for heroic mode:
Heroic Mode 25m video:
Not much new, but it is important to note that spreading is done in a smaller area (the stage area, confined within the trench), to not be out of range of healers when you get spiked, aswell as to make it easier on dps to nuke down the Bone Spikes which are now also cast during the Bone Storms. Bone Storms lasts longer on heroic mode (~30s instead of 20s) and Coldflame is used more often throughout the fight (every 2-3s instead of every 5-6s), while Coldflame patches persist for about twice as long.
While the dude from Tankspot said they don't use a fixed spreading plan for the Bone Storms phases, it's handy to have the raid split into 2 groups of roughly the same make up, one group spreading on the left half of the stage area, the other group sticking to the right half of the stage area. This prevents the unlucky case where all healers decided to go left, and people are Bone Spiked on the far right. ;o
