Warlock - Destruction > Gyojin (Accepted)

Yes, I dc only once or twice a month.

What other characters do you have?
A resto shaman. Level 80. It is good geared with tier 8 and 2 pieces of tier 9.
A level 28 paladin.

To all the other times listed below I would have to add a maybe since my working schedule differs from time to time. I can basically always join a raid. But some days I might have to pop on when the raid has already started. Like at 9-ish. Sometimes even 10.

Do you have pre-WotLK raiding experience, if so what?
A big yes. I have raided every raid instance in WotLK. Eye of Eternity, Naxxramas, Ulduar, ToC, Obsidium Sanctum.

What 10 man and 25 man Ulduar bosses have you cleared and of which out of those bosses have you done on hard mode?
I have killed every boss in Ulduar in both 10 men and 25 men. In 10 men I have done Flame Leviathan. Iron Council, Ignis, Hodir, Auriya, Freya, Thorim, XT. And on 25 men I haven't done Hard modes on my warlock. But I have done hard modes in 25 men Ulduar on my shaman. Those are Hodir, XT and Flame Leviathan, Ignis, Freya.

Character specific questions:


Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve then in the future.
My current gear is set up to be very good for raiding as a destruction warlock. I am going to improve it today by getting the epic gems in since I was focusing on my shaman alot. That way my dps will be even higher. Also I am going to do a lot of heroic dailys to get triumph emblems for some gear.


Comment on how youve chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants.
I have chosen the gems and enchants that I use because they are in my opinion the best I could get for my warlock.
But as I have stated in the above question, I am going to change my gems to epic gems since they give better stats.



What glyphs are you using and why?
I am currently using Glyph of Immolate, Glyph of Incinerate, Glyph of Conflagrate and Glyph of Drain Soul.
Glyph of Immolate is because it is a DoT I ALWAYS keep up. So increasing its periodic damage by 10% is really nice.
Glyph of Incinerate is because like the tooltip says "Increases the damage done by your Incinerate by 5%"...so another very nice DPS increase.
Glyph of Conflagrate s because I then can keep up a good DoT (Immolate) and still cast Conflagrate. In otherwords a nice DPS inrease.

Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experience/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs?
I do not have offspec gear since my raid spec is destruction and my offspec is a pvp destro spec. But I hardly pvp so I can still go get an affliction offspec gearset. As for now I am updated to the current news on warlocks.

We require you to have at least one crafting profession (not engineering). If you have two gathering professions, would you be prepared to reroll one?
Luckily I have Tailoring AND Enchanting. So 2 crafting professions. I already dropped Herbalism for Enchanting because it does much much more for my dps then Herbalism.


General questions

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving?
All the following guilds are horde guilds:
-Clockwork - Orange (Nothing going on)
-Ten Inches Unbuffed (Disbanded because of some GM / Officer things)
-Pwnies (Had to leave because there was a IRL person I know in it which hates me so they asked me leave after he noticed I got in the guild)
-AFK (A very nice guild which my shaman is still in, I just feel like keeping my fun in WoW and see the game from the other side...So If I get in a raiding guild I am gonna change my Shaman to Alliance also.)
-Amon Amarth (A social guild of friends in which I was baaaaaaaaack in the leveling days of my warlock)


What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?
I fulfill the role of a damage doing class. The strenghts of my class is that I am able to give a Soulstone or Healthstones and given the right spec also a very nice raid wide spell power increase. And if you (like myself) use a certain destruction spec you also give Replenishment.



What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could?
Inceasing the damage of all my offensive destruction spells =D for the win! On a more serious matter, I would put Improved Imp into a combined or his own destruction talent and move Improved Shadow Bolt to Affliction. There isn't really much I would change for warlocks since I think they are fine as they are now.



What do you think you can add to Eternals?
A friendly and helpfull player. Who does good damage and listens to what he is told. Fulfilling my role as DPS as good as possible.



What do you think Eternals can do for you?
Provide me with a fun raiding experience, people with a mature attitude and lot's of fun.

My name is Peter van Steenis. 21 years old and I am from the Netherlands. Family isnt a problem and my work I have explained at the raiding times question.
What keeps me busy is my work but also my hobby's. Which are gaming World of Warcraft ofcourse! and 3D modeling / animation. Creating things with Autodesk Maya. I also like to listen to my music (metal, rock etc like rammstein or Machinae Supremacy)
