Character specific questions


Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve then in the future.
Currently look for Spellpower, Crit and Int on my gear, I dislike haste, as crit give me more healing AND mana (from Surge of light), and since 3.1 spirit is far inferior to intellect for mana regen (assuming you have replenishment). I hope to get better gear (obviously), but hold on to my 2xT8.5 for as long as i can for it's awsome set bonus.

Comment on how youve chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants.
Gemmed for intellect to boost my mana regen mainly, unless there is a reasonable set bonus to go for, in which case I go SP/int (for reds) or int/spirit (for blues, which I dislike doing)


What glyphs are you using and why?
Major: PoH (Improved raid healing), CoH (Improved raid healing) GS(Far shorter cooldown on my "OH SHI-" button/when I know tank is going to get hit hard).
Minor: Shadowfiend (Since he is so squishy in aoe heavy fights were i need him most), Shadow Prot (Less rebuffing needed). Levitate(Not much left in this slot, so i picked this for fun, and it is very occasionally useful for fights like Thaddius)

Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experience/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs?
Have hit capped shadow gear, but not much else, only able to pull 2.5-3k dps on dummies regardless of how tight i make my rotations.

We require you to have at least one crafting profession (not engineering). If you have two gathering professions, would you be prepared to reroll one?
N/A, but I am prepared to get my tailoring up to 450.

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving?
Knights of the Templar: Left due to not feeling that there was enough focus from some of the members on progression, and more on farming easier bosses.


What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?
I feel that holy priests in general are one of the best raid healers in the game (Equal with resto shammies and druids ofc), as well as provideing key buffs to the rest of the team.


What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could?
Remove the CoH CD, or make PoH a 1.5 sec cast.


What do you think you can add to Eternals?
A dedicated raider with a good sense of humor and a love for progression (assuming the repair bills aren't from someone dropping a mole port right before a yogg attempt).


What do you think Eternals can do for you?
provide me with a nice, structured and efficient guild.

In last year of collage and hoping to go to uni to study astrophysics. Love WoW and other games (obviously), trying to each myself programming/lua scripting/html.
Yes I will admit I do have parents and college work that get in the way of WoW occasionally, but I will always try to warn people as early in advance as I can if this is to happen.

Hello there:) nice application, although you are lacking some XP for the harder encounters if you can provide the dedication to excel and keep pushing yourself for improvements such and research then thats great:).

Im guessing you grinded your helm and chest from the badges of conquest which is also great it means you are trying your best to get gear outside of the raiding environment, alongside grinding the ToC herioc.

Maybe suggest attending a 10man group at some point in the new raid instance see how you get on after reset dont get saved we lack healers for the 4th group normally ;P

Some good reasons for gemming / glyphs etc.

Hi,
Nice spec, glyphs are good, gear is prob best you can get with your current raiding oppurtunities (try replace that hit rating gear asap), Meta gem is ok, you might want to consider getting the meta with intel + chance to restore mana. Mana regen is a bit low but i'm sure that will get sorted with new gear fairly quickly provided you can attend the raids .

The only major concerns i have is that you might have mana problems and that you may stack too much crit and ignore your haste. However, your spec is good and that says to me you have an understanding of what you want your priest to do in a raid, and I think he deserves a trial.

that and you probably have one of the worst wow names ive ever seen :p (alongside Impman, Fraghunter and a few classics like Wowbc and Thewowpro, welshknight, welshlock, welshdruid)
