Played Time on your character: 58 days
Professions and level of professions: 450 JC/Tailoring
Do you have a stable internet: Yes, 20Mbit connection average latency in raids is around 100, I also have a high end system so frame rate issues are not a problem

What other characters do you have?
Ildera - Warlock
Korloth - Prot Paladin
Killora - Enhance Shaman
Kauloth - Feral Druid
Currently doing random heroics on these nabs
Bunch of other non 80's

Raid times and Experience:

Tuesday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Wednesday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Thursday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Friday 19:30-04:00 - Yes
Saturday 19:30-04:00 - Yes
Sunday 19:30-23:00 - Yes

Do you have pre-WotLK raiding experience, if so what?
Didn't really play in the tBC, but I did play a little in vanilla, cleared MC and Onyxia.

What 10 man and 25 man Ulduar bosses have you cleared and of which out of those bosses have you done on hard mode?
Ulduar 10 13/14
Ulduar 25 13/14
25 man Hard modes: FL, IFM, XT and Hodir, also Freya +2.

Character specific questions:

Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve then in the future.
When looking at upgrades I look for int/spirit/haste/crit, spell power comes on everything. I like to keep my and crit and haste around a certain point (crit 25% and haste about 15%ish) so for future upgrades I'll be trying to keep haste and crit around these levels, while stacking int, spirit and spell power. Some people say spirit is a waste now, that you should just stack intellect all the way, I disagree with this, spirit is still beneficial. Stacking spirit makes Meditation and Holy Concentration all the more useful and provides great regen in the little time OO5SR. If I discover that in ICC my regen is sufficient I'll concentrate more on throughput and vice versa.

Comment on how you've chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants.
Enchants on my gear are the best I can get, pretty standard. The only one thats worth mentioning is Tuskarr's Vitality on boots since alot of fights involve moving around I feel this is better than +18 spirit.
As for my gems, I like to match the socket bonuses as it provides free stats that you can't make up from anywhere else, since I make use of all the stats they give I believe it's better doing it this way rather than sticking the same gems all over.

What glyphs are you using and why?
Guardian Spirit - This makes my 51 talent all the more awesome, it turns it from an oh crap ability to something that's used a lot more.
Circle of Healing - Extra target on CoH.
Flash Heal - 10% mana reduction to Flash Heal, since it's a spell I use a lot it's nice to have. I don't think this glyph will be here to stay, once I've been in ICC awhile I can see if it would be better to drop this in favour of PoH depending upon my mana usage and raid damage in there.

Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experience/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs?
My offspec is currently a disc pvp build. I don't have a raiding disc build nor have experience or any desire to do so.

General questions

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving?

Cake was the last guild I was in, but it stopped being a raiding guild and moved to a more social guild, with the new patch I want to experience and progress in ICC.

I was also in Serious Business around this time last year, but a lot of the best members left, so I took a break for awhile till Ulduar patch hit and then joined Cake.

What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?
Excellent raid healing, but I can also be a good tank healer, more so than any other healer can do. I feel the Holy Priest is there to counter large bursts of damage while the Resto druids provide a sort of stable regen for continuous smaller amounts of damage.

What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could?
Meditation talent should just be a trainer bought ability or something, every priest build takes it and needs it, would give me some talents to spend on other sweet things. Also I'd like the Lightwell that the priestesses in ToC 5man have. It gives the healing to people that need it, as dps seem very reluctant to use it Rolling Eyes

What do you think you can add to Eternals?
An experienced and skilled Holy Priest. That is committed to and enjoys raiding.

What do you think Eternals can do for you?
I want to experience and progress in ICC I believe you can help me with this, I also may learn more about my class from your other priests and healers. Smile

Personal information; Name, age, where you live, interests/hobbies, Job and family that will nag you to stop raiding?
I'm 21 my name is Shane, and I live in Middlesbrough, a town in North Eastern England, I've been playing MMO's for the last 10 years or so, starting with UO and playing others such as DAoC, WAR and Aion.

Nice app but i know sod all about holy priests (other than we could do with a spare). Hopefully some of the slacker priests could have a look at your speac and gear and ask some questions.

SInce i am trolling the forums Smile

Gear is pretty decent, gem / glyphs seem fine, would you be aiming for the 4 set triumph if you had the opportunity? or are you staying with 2 t9 and 2 t8?

Nice application

Good Luck Razz

Ramzon is more the person who can be more nitty gritty Razz but looks good Smile

This is a slight problem as we require out hybrid classes to be flexable in their raid rolls (dps are expected to spec whatever is gonna give them the most dps in a fight, likewise, hydrids may have to change specs depending on fight mechanics/raid makeup)

However the rest was fine and a well written application, so worth a trial. Whisper an officer or myself for an invite
