Dunno wtf they've been doin' with District 9 but I seen it on the internet about 2 years ago,not unless the one in the cinemas is an extremely accurate remake!

That Paranormal Activity looks like a modern day remake of the Exorcist...slightly,i've always struggled to find movies that actually scare the shit out me. I fell asleep watchin' the Exorcist in the cinema Sleep

They must'a incorporated the short into the film then cause it seems pretty much identical, long time since I seen it so maybe my minds playin' tricks on me Wink

It's skillbased. You gotto really place yourself in the main character! I can watch lame "scary" movies and still get scared like hell affraid
Even worse when reading. There's been times i stayed up an entire night to finish reading a scary book, just to know it would all end well... Sometimes, it didn't Sad

Fair point,it's not exactly easy to place yourself in the main character of the Exorcist when she's kneeling on a bed screaming and stabbin' herself in the crotch with a cross...can't actually remember if that bit was in the cinema release but it was definitely in the DVD Suspect

My empathy level only goes so far then I switch off...

Don't think I've ever been scared by a book in my life,my imagination must be fucked
