Do you have pre-WotLK raiding experience, if so what?

Karazhan, a couple of bosses in SSC and BT.

What 10 man and 25 man Ulduar bosses have you cleared and of which out of those bosses have you done on hard mode?

Cleared all apart from Algalon on 10 & 25, done the hardmodes for 25 mans Hodir, Thorim, IC (steelbreaker 10m - Molgeim 25m), FL, XT, Yogg + 3, Freya (10m).

Character specific questions:

Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve then in the future.
My gear choices currently revolve around an ArP talent build. Other than that, my gear is focused on improving agility and crit to maximise my dps. The only plan to improve them is by raiding regularly enough to get the loot to upgrade my key stats.

Comment on how youve chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants.
My gear is gemmed to get myself towards at the ArP cap, and then balance other agility gems in to my gear to maximise dps. The general consensus on my enchanting is to enchant agility, unless the attack power alternative is more than twice the amount of agility.

What glyphs are you using and why?
Glyph of Serpent sting - adds 2 ticks to the serpent sting and boosts chimera shot damage. This is a relatively obvious choice for an MM hunter as it increases a cornerstone of the dps.
Glyph of Kill Shot - allows a lot more Kill shots to be fired off in that last 20% period of a boss fight. Since kill shot does 200% weapon damage as an attack, it helps a lot to be able to get this shot off as much as possible.
Glyph of Steady Shot - Increases the dps output of a core part of my rotation whilst the target is always afflicted by a serpent sting. Given the amount of steady shots used by an MM hunter, it helps to improve dps by a considerable amount.

Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experience/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs?
My SV gear isn't ideal (and not really an offspec) but I'm up to date on the mechanics of playing it should replenishment be needed for a 10 man raid and can still put out a competitive level of dps.

We require you to have at least one crafting profession (not engineering). If you have two gathering professions, would you be prepared to reroll one?
My crafting profession is JC and gathering is mining - having just picked these up its unlikely I'll be changing them for a while to come yet unless something else would prove to be better.

General questions

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving?
FTW - as I'm sure you're aware FTW decided to call it a day and as such looking for a new raiding guild that is at the top end of content raiding.
The Mercenaries - I was in this guild before FTW, and left here because of the fact the guild often struggled to raid what should have been relatively easy content for the guild at that time due to some poor players making the same mistakes over a sustained period of time.

What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?
In a raid I feel I am able to provide a competitive level of dps, and bring some forms of CC. Having a sound knowledge of my class, and a willing to continue to research the class through various avenues I believe with decent gear I will always be able to compete on dps. Some abilities such as readiness and deterrence can help with tanking on certain bosses such as Mimiron's Head and one of the Jormungar in the coliseum, being able to pop 12 seconds of immunity to damage can help make the job easier for healers.

What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could?
For me it would have to be perhaps adding a real damage dealing melee ability, in some cases such as Hodir, phase one of the Northrend Beasts and other boss fights you are forced to get in melee range to fit the tactics being used or because of where the snow mounds fall in the case of hodir etc. It would also be helpful for pvp, but in fights where you are forced to get close to the boss as a hunter, and have a void of a few seconds or more where you can't do any damage other than rather weak melee it would be nice to perhaps have an attack on a 1 minute CD or something because it doesn't happen that often but the amount of dps lost when it does happen is rather a waste and at present there is little way around it.

What do you think you can add to Eternals?
A hunter always willing to discuss the theory of playing a hunter, as well as providing insight to anyone who is willing to listen, ie someone rolling a hunter and wanting to know what to do etc. In terms of raiding as mentioned above, just to bring competitive dps and of course coming to raids prepared with ammunition, flasks, buff food and haste pots (as well as health and mana pots). I will always be willing to research the boss before attempting it, reading tactics and watching videos. Also if I'm underperforming for whatever reason, I will always do my best to find out why and correct it.

What do you think Eternals can do for you?
Bit misleading as a line because I certainly don't expect Eternals to do anything for me other than to perhaps give me a fair crack of the whip should I get in. I know I'll only get out of it what I put in, guilds don't get to the level Eternals are at by not being fair enough to new members. So yea, all I expect really is to be given a chance to prove myself - if I perform well then I'd like to think I'd be deemed deserving of a permanent spot in the guild.

Personal infomation; Name, age, where you live, interests/hobbies, Job and family that will nag you to stop raiding?
Name: Michael Sant
Age: 20
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Interests: Football, WoW, Xbox 360.
Job: Currently off sick for the next 9 - 18 months.
Family: Live with them, but they're not too much of a problem.

Additional information which you would like to name?
Nothing much other than a few days ago a family member passed away, so depending on if I get accepted on trial or nottheres a few things to still be sorted out which could affect my times available to raid.

Edited in:
One other thing - still got my 130AP LW enchant on my bracers, I'll be replacing that shortly - just levelling mining at the moment and not got around to it.
