Character specific questions:
Ive yet to see 3.2 as still im currently on holiday will be online prompt Saturday morning to have a proper look. So this is what i know from pre 3.2 and some quick research ive just done.
Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve then in the future.
My armory currently shows me in full PvP gear. Though my PvE gear has a few changes different ring and legs have the hit trinket from herioc nexus which replace's my pvp one. At the moment I have around 2 days played at 80 so ive just got my hands on as many Epics as possible about 50% are still Welfare PvP gear.
Currently Ive been Prioritising Stat Wise as follows :
Hit(Till Capped - 8% w/o Draenei) > Strength > Expertise(Till capped - Impossible without gimping atm) > Crit Rating > Agility > Attack Power > Haste > Armor Penetration. The rest of stats are practically useless while raiding so im not including them.
To improve I need to obvisously replace all my PvP gear except the PvP Libram which ill be replacing Asap with the Relentless version ( I Hear Resto Shams are pro in arena! ) Wouldnt mind a 4 set tier 9.5 if there is any lying about. Also need a slower, higher dps, better stat'd 2h Sword/Mace
Comment on how youve chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants.
Gems:
Strength
Strength
and More Strength
Ill need to upgrade to epic gems when I come online will hopefully have enough badges to kit out my PvE gear.
Enchants:
Mostly AP and Crit as currently there arent any good strength enchants. Also when I have a slower higher dps weapon i'll get Beserking enchant on that.
What glyphs are you using and why?
Major:
Glyph of Judgement - 10% Extra Judgement damage (speaks for itself is a must)
Glyph of Consecration - Increases the duration and cooldown of Consecration by 2 sec (Great mana saver)
Glyph of Avenging Wrath - Reduces the cooldown of your Hammer of Wrath spell by 50% while Avenging Wrath is active. (Quite hard to time but a good dps boost)
Minor:
Glyph of Lay on Hands - Increases the mana restored by your Lay on Hands spell by 20%.
Glyph of Sense Undead - Damage against Undead increased by 1% while your Sense Undead ability is active.
The only two good minor glyphs.
Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experience/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs?
Little offspec gear but experience playing both includes heriocs and pvp though it isnt up to date gameplay.
We require you to have at least one crafting profession (not engineering). If you have two gathering professions, would you be prepared to reroll one?
I have enchanting already and still need another so if any certian profession is needed ofc i can.
Rotation and skills used:
Seal of Vengeance (with 3.2)
All other skils on a First Come First Cast Basis.
If 2 skills are off cd at the same time then:
Judgement > CS > Consecration > DS > Exorcism - Single Target
Judgement > DS > Consecration > CS > Exorcism - Multi Target
My rotation may change with the changes in 3.2 so i will need to do some testing before i can say for 100% but that is how i would play.
General questions
Previous guilds and reasons for leaving?[/color][/b]
Chinnose:
Power Passion and Fury - Had larger fish to fry.
Previous account:
Tempest - This is were it all began, guild raiders decided to create a new guild under new management so i followed.
Sanity - This is when i made some real friends and became really good mates with rigs in the end the guild had some problems (certain players) so we decided to create a new 10 man guild agian with rigsby as guild leader.
Eternals! - Well the 10 man plan was short lived soon enough we were powering through content catching up on players who had started raiding 6 months before we had ever reached 70.
I sold my account a few days prior to 3.1 and went on a long break around 5 months now im back for good and i hope to earn back my spot and show that im the sort of dedicated player Eternals really needs.
What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?
My class in a raid will obvisously be dps but personally ill be able to provide a player with plenty of experience who can complete any particular task during raid encounters and not just sit spam dpsing!
To a raid retadins bring:
Imp Might
Replenishment to 10 raid members
3% Increased Crit to all raid members
3% additional damage to all raid members
3% haste to all raid members
What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could?
The glyphs for retadins are not the best as compared with some classes. Id really want another useful minor glyph. With 3.2 building this vengeance dot up may suck ill have to see!
What do you think you can add to Eternals?
A compatent player who has plenty of experience and good understanding of eternals and its admin.
What do you think Eternals can do for you?
Allow me to raid and progress with friends who i know and can trust
Personal infomation; Name, age, where you live, interests/hobbies, Job and family that will nag you to stop raiding?
My name is Matthew King, I live in a town called Leigh which is close to Wigan ( Uk ofc ) interests and hobbies hmmm, wow? o and arena. I attend college 5 days a week which wont interfere with raids also my parents have finally gave me some space so that is no problem. My girlfriend will prevent me raiding on fridays and some saturdays, she will be back at college this year so wont be around much during the week.
Additional information which you would like to name?
Can an admin change my username to Chinnose please

Re: Ret Paladin - Chinnose (Accepted)
Vengeance seems to take around 10 - 15 seconds to build up (so ive read). During phase 1 and 2 its unlikely that a ret would reach that amount of time hitting on a mob. So SoR for phase 1 and 2 then back to vengeance for the rest.
hmmm hard one with the libram, Im thinking between 144 ap constant(pvp libram) vs the +94 SoR and judgment damage but ill need to get online to test it which i cant as ive been hacked . My accounts now registered with battlenet, doubtful ill be on till monday. My best guess is 144 ap as SoR gains additional damage from ap also exorcism, judgement damage(with SoR on) and consecration will do increased damage aswell.
did i miss anything?

Re: Ret Paladin - Chinnose (Accepted)
Spell priorities are off, and you say its impossible to get near expertise cap atm yet youre missing one of the easiest free 10 expertise thingies eu, what is it? :p
Im not entirely sure we'd need another paladin with the number we run and the specs they switch around to, but its not my decision in the end, gl with your app

Re: Ret Paladin - Chinnose (Accepted)
Pre 3.2 it was still wrong :p
You need to prioritise spells on dps, not damage per cast. Bigger hitting spells arent always the first choice as letting small cooldown abilities sit there not being used, even for a tiny amount, is quite a dps loss on that ability

Re: Ret Paladin - Chinnose (Accepted)
Personal perspective: I havn't met a great deal of truely dedicated and loyal WoW players, but out of them Matt is up there as one of the best. I've known him since my very first nab raiding guild and didn't even like him when we met, he soon won me round and I have played with him since then.
Class perspective: You know what you are on about for most of it and considering you have played your pally for sod all amount of time and been out of the WoW loop for quite a few months your grasp is far greater than many others. You need to do some homework on rotations but I know for a fact you are the type of person to sit in front of a training dummy for hours untill you know whats best along with reading all the theorycraft, so these lapses don't bother me.
Guild perspective: You're here, you're queer, we've gotten used to it. If you were raiding in some other guild it just wouldn't feel right. You've been a lifelong member of Eternals, never emo left a raid or the guild (maybe a few arena teams ) and you've shown nothing but true loyalty to the guild. We only have 1 full time raiding ret atm which is Shiatan with other players having offspecs as ret. I'm confident we have a raid spot for you in one way or another and I know for a fact many guild members would love to have you back.
Unless there is a truely good reason someone has for you not joining or there is a serious outcry from officers then you will most definatly get an invite for a trial, as a guild, it's the least we owe to past members like yourself who helped make Eternals what it is.
