General information:

Characters name: Djinni
Class: Druid
Race: Night Elf
Armory link: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Azuremyst&n=Djinni
UI screenshot: Several screenshots can be seen at: http://wanted-my.info/wow/eg/
Played Time on your character: This character has a total /played of 118days, 15hours with a /played of 50days, 20hours at level 80.
Profesions and level of professions: Jewelcrafting 450 / Enchanting 450 / Cooking 450 / Fishing 450
Do you have a stable internet connection (Yes/No and average MS in raids):
For the most part relatively stable at home I'm on a 16mb wireless, and at uni 2-10mb wired fibre optic. Usually I average 90-200ms during raid time although being on a different server that's likely to change.
What other characters do you have?
Hunter 80,
Warrior 80,
Mage 80,
Shaman 44

Raid times and Experience:

We raid 7 days a week, days and times could possibly change in the future, please delete yes or no below depending on whether you would be able to attend or not. (server times)
Monday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Tuesday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Wednesday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Thursday 19:30-00:00 - Yes
Friday 19:30-xx:xx - Yes (Please write lastest time you could raid till here)
Saturday 19:30-xx:xx - Yes (Please write latest time you could raid till here)
Sunday 19:30-23:00 - Yes
I would usually be able to raid right until raid end, even if that ment carrying through till late the following day

Do you have pre-WotLK raiding experience, if so what?

TBC:
Kara: Cleared
ZA: Cleared
Gruul: Cleared
Maggy: Cleared
Tempest Keep: Cleared
Serpenshrine Cavern: Cleared
Mount Hyjal: Cleared
Black Temple: Cleared
SWP: up to Felmyst

Character specific questions:

Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve then in the future.
Currently I am gearing my tank set for maximum threat + avoidance as opposed to the traditional mana sponge, improvements depend on what happens with druids in future patches, I prefer not to plan my gear too much.
DPS wise I am focusing on AP and Crit in order to take full advantage of the new Primal Gore talent.

Comment on how youve chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants.
I am currently gemming in accordance with the gear choices, with the best gems available to me (stormjewels aren't too popular on Azuremyst)

What glyphs are you using and why?
Tank:
Mangle - I often forget to reapply Mangle at regular intervals so I find this glyph very helpful with keeping up high threat generation.
Maul - Not sure how I could tank without this... admitedly on most bosses not so much required but for groups this glyph is a godsend. (Maul being pretty much the highest threat generating ability)
Frenzied Regeneration - Having being used to playing in TBC, if I need to use an ability like Frenzied Regen you can be sure i'll need the extra healing this glyph provides too!

DPS:
Shred - Quite simply increases DPS by giving me more time to work up the 5 combo points to apply the next rip, and sometimes squeeze in a few extra attacks such as Ferocious Bite
Mangle - Same as above really, Mangle doesn't really do much for cats DPS so the less often I have to use it, the better.
Berserk - Currently looking for a possible replacement to this simply I have this due to lack of a better option being available, but it still provides a better boost than no glyph right? Razz

Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experience/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs?
I have an OK healing set, I manage to hold my ground in most raids up to Ulduar 10 fairly well with it.

We require you to have at least one crafting profession (not engineering). If you have two gathering professions, would you be prepared to reroll one?
I don't have a gathering profession on my main character in-order to take full advantage of the professions available, but yes if I did I would be prepared to.

General questions

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving?
Been in my fair share of guilds and left for various reasons (falling apart, guild splits, or just plain didn't fit in) more recently:
Avarice - Left due to a difference of opinion, after 3 days of being in the guild it was plain to me that I just wasn't going to get along with many of the guild members there.
Shattered Shard - Left during a guild split still talk to and play with many of remaining members from there.
Slackers Inc - Looking to leave as we don't really do anything, some great players here but they're just never online.

What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?
Being a Druid I can play the 'fill the gap' role and manage Tanking, DPS'ing and Healing all at a fair level, as in the past I have played all 3 as my main spec in end-game content.
Honestly strengths over others seems to entirely depend on who you choose to compare to, some fights that people say are better suited to other classes, I seem to do an ample job in.

What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could?
Definatly the bum, it's for sure the most horid thing I've ever seen, and in all 4 of the main druid forms it seems to be the most prominent.

What do you think you can add to Eternals?
I hope I can add a (usually) very stable player with very little need to gear up or be carried, who can fill almost any role.
Previously I have been in many guilds and a wide variety of situations, so (not that you guys seem to need it) I can bring most of that experience to good use.

What do you think Eternals can do for you?
Hopefully provide a strong stable envrioment to raid and have fun in, that will go for much much more than the boring /clear.
You guys seem to have a good laugh and actually enjoy playing together, and I hope I can be a part of that community.

Personal infomation; Name, age, where you live, interests/hobbies, Job and family that will nag you to stop raiding?
O dear.... you mean I have to tell you who I really am! Whats wrong with just who I wish I was!?!
Name: Rob
Age: 20
Location: I am currently living at home with my parents during the holiday but come term time i'm back off to Sheffield Uni to study Computer Network Engineering.
Interests and Hobbies: Umm....... yeah that's pretty much it! I play WoW, make websites and generally just play around on my PC most of the time.
Job: Currently none, (dad's trying hard though Razz)
Family: I have 4 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 brother and sister at home with parents and 3 older brothers who I virtually never get to see Sad, parents are usually ok with me being on wow during raids, although sometimes I do have to go grab the shopping or sort dinner.

Additional information which you would like to name?
It looks like some feckers taken my name... so maybe you can throw up some suggestions for a new one.....

I do have a post up on the WoW forums: http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?sid=1&topicId=9521381962&ST=EU-1048635-qJUvgb9WX5mIb0PRfHIXVrHUVZXGcodVbBv

History:
I started playing WoW one night when I got bored of waiting for the new expansion in Guild Wars, I started out on the US servers (US-Tanaris) with a hunter (Djinnideamon) then rerolled to the EU servers when I couldn't make the raid times (due to the timezone difference). Started with the Warrior as on the US servers there was always a distinct lack of tanks, fairly quickly I progressed though T4,5 and T6 content, and made the rest of my characters switching between them as required by the guild.
I have held Officer and GM ranks in several guilds now and as such am used to having to take the responsibility of leading raids, organising events and running guilds. As such I am acustomed to being a part of the 'core team' even if I do try and shirk off as much of the responsibiity as possible.

About me:
I have in the past played Runescape, where I got into using a program called 'SwiftSwitch' and therefore SwiftIRC, which I became a Helpoper on, I had toyed with the idea of becoming an IRCop by linking my own server with SwiftIRC, so I have had experience of using IRC related programs, and mixed with all sorts of people and indeed run my own IRCd for several months, where I also got into website design (although I’m still not very good at it) and becoming a web space reseller.
While I don't do much of that anymore (WoW has eaten up all my free time) I still have my own website and web space and have indeed made and hosted several of my guilds websites, something I continue to do for a few of them even though I am no longer in those guilds.
College wise, I studied AS Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Computing, for my first year, and didn't quite get the grades I was after, so moved onto a National Diploma course where I studied ICT National Diploma for 2 years, I had previously looked at doing the HND course, as well as backing it up with a Cisco qualification, however decided that going straight into Uni better suited me in the long term, and now study Computer Network Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University.

What I expect from a guild: Regular pre-planned raids, a solid mature and stable enviroment with other players who are helpful and forthcomming in-order to further progress themselves and therefore the guild they are in through the game, and possibly even make friends outside the game.
Lastly RESPECT; no one gets anywhere without a little respect for themselves and each other.

Current PC Spec:
Motherboard: ASUS M3N-HD/HDMI
CPU: AMD Phenom II 2.8Ghz X4
RAM: 5.5GB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+
Internet Connection: Stable 90% of the time, at home i'm on a 16mb wireless, and at uni 2-10mb wired fibre optic.
UI: Several Screenshots can be found on my own server at: http://wanted-my.info/wow/eg/
Communication: Logitech USB Headset, with both Teamspeak and Ventrilo installed, (If you insist on using in-game voice chat I’m afraid you can decline my app straight away without reading any of it)

If you feel I have missed anything or just wish to talk to me, feel free to give me an e-mail or an in-game whisper, thanks and hope to hear from you soon!

A very solid application mate, you leave very little left to ask as you have provided alot of information, I reckon some people will come up with some questions though!

From my part though I liked the application, I felt you put effort in to it and I personally like reading things which are grammatically correct Razz

You are also a spec which Eternals currently lacks in a hardcore raiding position so I would personally vote yes on this as I would hate to miss out on an oppurtunity which has not presented itself to us in quite some time. I don't however have the final say but I think Ronab will be on the case of this app when he wakes up Smile

Thanks for applying and good luck!

p.s. I never say good things about apps, check my posts! So it can only be a good thing.

When you leave so little to ask, you're bound to get the silly questions, so here we go:

What colour fur will you be choosing in 3.2? Would you be prepared to change the colour of your fur when the raid got tired of looking at the huge blue bum and asked for a purple bum instead?

When dealing with GM tickets, are you prepared to come up with weird questions just for the heck of it?

Multiple choice one:
I buff MotW...
a] right after i clicked yes on the ready check
b] as soon as everyone is (back) in range
c] ... whut's MotW??

Good luck with your app, enjoyed reading it. Smile

Oh, as for the name.. Seeing how attached you are to it (your alts' names all being derived from it), have you thought about Djinnie, Djínní, Djynni, Innijd etc etc?

Yeah, you could try and clean up your template a little in that respect Wink went to spellcheck my post and it showed more errors with your template than my 'wall o text' Wink

As for Ronab, I think I may be partially guilty for keeping him up till about 4 or 5 am this morning Razz (Hope you got to sleep well buddy)

The colour fur personally I was hoping to go for a rather vivid shade of red or purple, all depends on what Blizz gives us really, and nah Razz I'm gonna pick the most annoying colour I can find Very Happy.
As for your question defiantly C, dunno about you but I use Gift Wink

Before we consider this further, is your main interest in playing bear, or cat?

Actually I'm starting to very much enjoy playing cat, although , I much prefer tanking in general it gives you that sense of having something to do, whereas DPSing in general is mostly about spamming a rotation and hoping you don't fall asleep before you need to actually do something.

Preferably bear Razz as like I said, it is often far more interesting than falling asleep while spamming your rotation.

Hey there, we'd like to offer you a trial, as a bear. Just be aware we've just started our official 2 week summer vacation, so theres no 25man hardmodes for 2 resets, if this isnt to your taste then thats fine. Smile
