i wasnt around for vanila wow unfortuntally.
in TbC i cleard all content except SWP before the nerf was introduced.

Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve then in the future.

as i am an arcane mage i focus mainly on sp- haste- inta - crit. at the moment im wearing very heavy haste gear as the more haste i have the more casts i can push out. however regardless to what i have on i do have my full T7.5 set and i also have 2 other trinkets 4 sets of rings 2 other helms and 2 chest pieces besides my T7.5. this way if i get a new item and i gain one stat but loose another i can counter-ballance it with another item, untill a sutible upgrade becomes available. i do also have a crit set for when i duel spec fire just incase that is needed at any point.


Comment on how youve chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants.
my enchants are the best enchants that a mage should have.
my gems are socketed as haste haste haste!! tho as my gear is improving and im geting natural upgrades i will replace with crit so my chances of more pewpew is higher.


What glyphs are you using and why?
major glyphs are-
arcane power- as it increases my dmg for an extra 2sec
moltern armor- as 20% of my spirt becomes crit
arcane blast- as this increases my arcane buff by an extra 3%

minor glyphs
slow fall (had for archimoid in MH)
polymorph penguin ( so i have every polly)
arcane interllect- as its way to much hastle to try and get 24.5k mana back just befor a boss fight

Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experience/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs?
i have crit gear for duel spec. and yes i do know how to play the spec just not as good as arcane xD

We require you to have at least one crafting profession (not engineering). If you have two gathering professions, would you be prepared to reroll one?
yah ofc.. tho i would never be a gatherer.. the only gathering i do is from im inbox.


General questions

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving?
Climax (aggramar_ current guild)
the ppl are great but there is never enough ppl online and dedecated to raid. the raids dont start on time. the guild seem to be unorganised. the GM goes afk in the middle of a 25man without a word, and simply there are no schedualed 10 man raids ither.

Last crusaders (aggramar)
i left there as the GM from climax asked for me.. he wanted me to leave my guild and join his. he had heard goodthings about me, and to be franc LC were not progressing and showed no signs of progression.


What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?
i know my class really well and im happy to wipe all night to learn new encounters. i like to have fun when raiding but like it to be serious also. and good dps ofc


What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could?
nothing!! tho a nice buff in dmg would be nice blizz

What do you think you can add to Eternals?

sumone who is fun lively and wants to improve. my knowlage of my class and my enthusiasm to improve.

What do you think Eternals can do for you?
i expect nothing but a fun place to continue playing the game and to have a laugh whilst doing it.

Your decursive seems quite a way away from all the action too, this could be a problem, especially on yogg saron where theres curses flying everywhere

heave hate is 680 around 20% making 1 arcane blast cast under 1.95 sec self buffed. i have over 2200 sp so i socket haste as i think that having lots of haste really improved my dps. sp naturally has to be the most important thing, but arcane mages are reliant on haste. my sp comes naturally from my gear tho i have 1 +32sp gem. the way i have socketed alows me to keep the socket bouns too. xD

Mind if i ask if you use Rawr to check which gems provide the best dps? As even with the really (REALLY) low amount of haste i have, it still advices me to use spellpower/haste gems rather than pure haste gems for yellow sockets. Also, i'm curious about the chest enchant (250 mana vs. +10 stats) and the metagem (25 sp + 2% intel vs. 21 crit rating + 3% increased critical damage) you use. Did you run tests to see if it would actually benefit more?

xD yes im always runing tests to see what benefits me more. currentaly ive resocketed SP and changed a glyph as advised. im going to test the effects in tonights raid and compare the differences in my dps: and ofc i will monitor it over a couple of weeks.
regards to my chest enchant i poped that on there during a raid i was in when i recieved the item. tho my enchanting isnt quite high enough yet to do +10 stats and no other from the guild were online... could say ive forgoten to change that over the last few days. however i shall get that one sorted.

SP>Haste>crit>int>spirit, and i think ur 4set would be better than ur current gear choice until atleast u get 2set t8. and as subeam pointed out 2%intvs3%critdmg is a easy choice. sum choices here worrie me a bit. ur glyph and spec seems right. and ur UI wow, i thought i had bad resolution. u playing on a gameboy?

i have tested my dps in my T7 4set compared to my current gear and i loose alot of stats including sp. ive found that my crit average is no more than what it is now. the reason i have the 25sp +2% inta is that as u pointed out SP is main prio and any inta is converted into sp too. my other 2 helms both have the crit gems.
and lol at that image yes it is bad. i will send a new pic of my UI if u wish.. my res was prob low that day

at 1500int(raidbuffed) u gain 30int and 15% of that 30 int is 4,5SP if im not mistaken, aswell as the raw 25SP in the meta aswell.
so 29,5SP VS 21 crit rating and 3% increased crit dmg. i'd advise you to switch back to the chaotic skyflare one.

do you have any wws reports from any of your current raids we could have a look at?

rightyo, al give the crit gem another shot. atm that am aware of we dont use wws tho i will look into it with other guild members and try to get you a link to look at xD

im a bit sceptic tbh. but if you change your legpatch(50sp+20spirit), change your meta gem to the chaotic skyflare one.
change all of your gems to 19SP, and use your prismatic 32sp gems where you really want ur socket bonus(like not in your head where u get 8spirit as socketbonus) im hoping you prove me wrong.
when u've done these changes /w me in game or another officer for a trial spot.

For the jc gems.. best sockets to put them in are blue ones for the metagem requirement Leaving 1 to spend on whatever. Welcome ^^

doesent matter if u put them in a blue, red or yellow socket for the meta requirement, will trigger it anyways, but i'd choose, neck, chest, and legs. for the most benefit of ur socketbonuses.
