Do you have pre-WotLK raiding experience, if so what? Yes: Vanilla i did casual zg and mc raids. TBC cleared ssc, tk, mh and cleared up to illidan pre-patch, za cleared.


What 10 man and 25 man Ulduar bosses have you cleared and of which out of those bosses have you done on hard mode? Cleared Nax(10/25) sarth(10/25)(unfortunately didn't kill with 3drakes normal way even after a million wipes), malygos (pre-ulduar), Ulduar up to yogg(25), several hardmode bosses in 10man(xt, thorim, FL, agalon). (Guild disband at yogg), cleared toc10, cleared toc25 (except for the twins which is easy). Then I quit at start of november and have rejoined now.

Character specific questions:


Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve then in the future. As a warlock the 4 major stats are hit priority until capped, sp to a certain point and a mixture of crit(crit limited to around 25%-30%), haste and more sp


Comment on how youve chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants. I have tried to keep a high quantity of sp, crit and haste. Keeping a good 30% crit minimum of 300haste+ and high level of sp. Depending on the gear and the gear i may have replaced earlier. If the gear i had beforehand has hit or haste and the new gear doesn't instead of losing the haste i would gem towards what I'v lost and maybe regem my other gear to equal out the balance even further. I try to get the best enchants (dpending on my current financial situation )



What glyphs are you using and why?My Glyphs are Incinerate(5% can make a big difference), lifetap(there's always a large dispute what's better immolate due to overal dps increase however lifetap once fully raid buffed can give 300+sp and can be easily kept up due to the fact it lasts for 40seconds and conflagnate (no locks likes to spend time recasting immolate after a conflag).


Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experience/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs? I can play affliction, demo or destruction and will change my spec towards what the raid may need or when told to do so. Yes I do have offspec gear (as i'm a warlock its basically the same but may stack more sp/crit for demo) (I also have some nice stam gearing if to bring back good memories of tanking sarth) My current talent spec is 0/15/53: The basic destro setup get as much dmg as possible via immolate, conflag, choas bolt, and incinerate repeat, easy rotation high dmg.

We require you to have at least one crafting profession (not engineering). If you have two gathering professions, would you be prepared to reroll one? Yeh sure (I did have mining before herb, until my account got hacked and blizz couldn't be assed to change it, i'm thinking about lvling JC over the hols).



General questions

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving? Prepare for a long guild history ^^(however i can't remeber vanilla guilds, nothing too memoriable i suppose) Start of tbc i was in a guild called knights of elune on a server called emeriss, fairly social/small time raiding guilds where i started to learn the basics of raiding in 25man and 10man grps unfortunately there was a dispute between the officers an officer left and asked me to be the class leader of his new guild. This guild failed after a couple of weeks so i left and joined a guild called obscene where i spent the rest of tbc and grinded my way through to bt and Illidan like stated before, these guys didn't like the 80% horde ratio/ ganking and the lack of good raiders so soon after we left to a server called lightbringer, once lvling to 80 i left the guild as the officers and leaders where spending less time playing and focusing on the guild and recruiting fillers/people with no experience to come raid with us, ofc this failed and I left, joining an amazing guild called evernight these guys were tbh good players, we stormed through nax in a week and everyone geared up fast ready for ulduar, we started ulduar on the first day of it opening and obtained server first for razorscale and later on in the weeks ahead defeated the rest of them including mimiron before the patch, however we then spent several weeks grinding yogg but never managed to successfully defeat him, and 2 weeks before or after (can't remeber) toc was released the gm quit wow and everything fell apart, I then joined another top guild called Dark Portal Monkeys but found that as i was the 4th guild lock I wasn't being invited to many raids and later left. I moved to Ghostlands for a fresh start and joined a guild called nostalgia where we cleared 10 and 25man toc but I found that the tactics that of the gm were wrong/done in a way which isn't beneficial to the raid and hazardous (e.g. freya: letting razor flower run around not being tanked, instead of casters on storm lasher(10%, melee water spirit(to 10%) and then nuke down snaplasher then kill all. So I was kicked for trying to help the raid as i was still a trial (understandable in a way i suppose) and quit wow until 2days ago.



What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others? DPS, I do some nice dps, I'm aware of my surroundings and not my cast bar, liscen to the raid, imo warlocks are so unique and a usuful asset to a raid (demo +350-450sp buff). I read all the tactics before hand and I prepare well in advance.


What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could? Apart from changing back to shadowbolt spam = win and several pvp changes i would say nothing, maybe reduce aggro a little.



What do you think you can add to Eternals? Another great mind, an experienced raider, DPS, Pvper for some casual fun . Friendly player



What do you think Eternals can do for you? Get me back to hardcore raiding, competition, a good raiding environment, more fun

Last note: thx for trying to read my longish app, I know my gear could be alot better but since rejoining with some nice hackers money left overs I am currently upgrading my gear quickly and hope to gain equavalent gear or higher for your raiding standards.I did apply here a while back but you said you didnt have any spts ;( so i got stuch with nostalgia .I should also have bewejeweled bracers by tonight.Btw I left heading blank as just warlock, beacuase even though I enjoy destro, demo is great for buffing raid and is a fun spec and affliction which can be tiresome but is interesting. I wouldn't have applied if i didn't think i was "exceptional" and would really like to show you guys what i can do.

So true, yet blizzard will never admit warlocks do way to much agro for a 3 minute cooldown that's crap and once cataclysm comes out with the new shard system, soul shatter will be gone.
