it arrived there about 5 min after stepping into the updated naxx where ppl went "WTF is this shit!"

I tihnk i understand the reasoning behind this, particulally on hardmode.
Currently he does a saber lash, requiring 2 tanks to be healed (presumably near constantly on heroic) if a healer then gets bone spike'd, youre left with 2 healers to keep up the bone spike damage, fire damage and 2 tanks taking equal consistant (due to dodge nerfs) damage. Im assuming the nerf will allow you to use a single tank (who therefor gets hit just as hard as he did before the nerfs) meaning the healing needs to be spread accros less target!
Although healers could do with abit of stress, id be happy as it was!

I think the nerf was to melee damage not the sabre lash. I think you will need two tanks for that still but the damage between sabre lashes will be less.

I know sabre Lash is Melee, but, normally if they were nerfing a "named" skill they would state the name of the skill. By only saiying melee damage i took it to mean they were lowering auto attacks.

by the very definition of the ability though, its damage is based off how hard marrowgar's melee hits are, so theyd have to rewrite the spell mechanics

btw...any engineers got honored with ashen verdict yet?

# The drop rate for the Battered Hilt has been increased.
# The Skeletal Slave in the Pit of Saron has had the ability to drop the Battered Hilt and other random drop epics removed.

Muradin and Saurfang will no longer gain stacks of Battlefury from totems. Additionally, the duration of Battlefury has also been reduced.
Deathbringer Saurfang's Rune of Blood has been modified to heal 10 times the amount of damage dealt instead of 5 times the damage. This will make the encounter more difficult if you try to tank Saurfang with just one character. The tooltip does not reflect this change, but it will in a future patch.

funnily enough shiatan told me to do that last night...but had MD on tank already. Besides melee are more funr as they can get one shotted before tank can taunt
