Nope, have raided TBH raids, but only once WotLK had started so, doesnt count.

What 10 man and 25 man Ulduar bosses have you cleared and of which out of those bosses have you done on hard mode?
10man all upto and including Yogg Normal, xt002 HM only, havent tried other HMs.
25man all upto but not including Vezax, no HMs.
TotC25 5/5, and TotGC10 2/5.

Character specific questions:


Explain your current gear choices and how you hope to improve then in the future.
I have several sets of gear for tanking, the main two i use is like a threat/DPS set with the 200str libram, and the darkmoon card greatness, i use this when a boss doesnt really hit hard enough to threaten my survival, and so i might as well help out in terms of DPS, like if i was main tanking Lord Jerax in TotC 10heroic or 25man, i can do over 3K dps without any danger of death. I may also use that set in fights where the DPS players get a big DMG buff that i might not be getting.

The other set is a Max Stam and Mitigation set, this is my normal raiding gear, and focuses on max armor, avoidance and ofc health.

I really like armor as a tanking stat, so i roll with the armor trinket normally, at the expense of the extra stam, i find as a lot of newer encounters have large physical damage on the main tank, mitigation is more valuable then another 1k hp. I roll with additional armor pots too for that reason.

As for improvements... I want more raw HP, juggenauts vitality or heart of iron just wont drop for me.. :-S.. And i want to replace my t8.5 head with a t9 one.. but as the T9 isnt much better or possibly worse then what i have.. its got to be the T9 25man head at least which is much better then mine.

Comment on how youve chosen to gem and enchant your character, and why you have chosen these gems/enchants.
I pretty much gem for stam, and stam + another stat.. but i do like to maximise through picking up socket bonuses, so I will grab dodge/stam or def/stam if the socket bonus is worthwhile.

Enchant-wise, yep.. its pretty much gonna be stam or def.. i find theres value in extra def beyond the def cap.. because of ardent defender and also the extra avoidance.

What glyphs are you using and why?
I go with the Devine Plea ofc to start with, and keep it rolling throughout the fight for the 3% dmg reduction,
And i use HoR glyph for the extra target.. because trash mobs etc often come in 4s or more and to be able to keep another mob in line is invaluable,
And i use the Glyph of Salvation, i know its a little wild, but my threat isnt normally an issue, and the 20% dmg reduction has saved me on more then one occasion, by providing an extra cooldown, and ofc the situation is probably gonna be grim if i pop it anyways.

Do you have any notable offspec gear and are you experience/up to date with the mechanics of playing your offspecs?
I have a half decent set of holy gear, and have healed ToC10 and 25.. and a bit of ulduar in it, + VoA etc.. I can keep 2 tanks up in koralon25 myself pretty easy. And whats more i do really enjoy my holy paladin offspec, i have it on both my paladins.

We require you to have at least one crafting profession (not engineering). If you have two gathering professions, would you be prepared to reroll one?
I have 2 crafting profs on both my 80s.


General questions

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving?
Guild has become inactive, due to my realm depopulating a bit, content getting stale etc, Lightbringer as a very low horde population as it is. So i want to go back to alliance again where i started. and Change realms.


What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?Well I can tank ofc, and I feel prot paladins are potentially the most powerful tanking class at the moment. Warriors have to work very hard + be exeptionally skilled to achieve the same results. Prot paladins cant be matched in terms of TPS either imo, on a gear for gear basis.

I can heal too.. and feel i can raid heal quite effectively.. but healing one or more tanks is the holy paladins niche.


What 1 thing would you change about your class if you could?
They made exorcism a casted ability.. which effectivly makes it unusable by a prot paladin since we get no art of war proc... it isnt even on my tool bars.
I wish they would stop fiddling with paladins because of PvP, the exorcism thing is an example of that.

What do you think you can add to Eternals?
Well, i'm a friendly guy.. social.. really like a laugh, get on well with people. I know my class inside out and back to front, same with tanking, and i'm a real theorycraft geek so i really know the wow game mechanic.. and I love to discuss, advise, help.. Like if an encounter isnt going well, i'll be the guy trying to help.. to make suggestions and offer solutions rather then sitting in silence and moaning.

I am online A LOT.. i play wow at work so.. i am pretty much around in the day to help out.. need a gem cut or an enchant done.. or just someone to chat with, ill be about.


What do you think Eternals can do for you?
I would like a social environment where i can still end-game raid as much as i can get the chance too, without having to commit two 20hours of raiding a week, which is something i cant do atm.

My brother (onki) and his girlfriend (cathrina) are also applying because of Killwolf who used to MT in our old alliance guild CV, so i'd like to stick with them too.
