Enhancement Shaman - Glyph Usage

What is going on Eternals?

I've been keeping up with this EJ Post about the Glyph usage and I'd like to hear from personal experience what people are running with.

I'm currently using Glyph of Windfury Weapon and Glyph of Stormstrike which I'm happy with and I won't be changing. My concern is what to use for the 3rd one. Current Options are:

1. Glyph of Lightning Shield
   
2. Glyph of Lava Lash (What I was using)
   
3. Glyph of Flametongue Weapon (What I'm using now)

Would like to hear what you guys have had experience with so far.

They are terrible for healing.

Static Shock is supposedly the highest dps talent per point in the tree, however i have yet to see my own dps figures reflecting this, even with glyph of lightning shield and improved shields, it was barely coming back as ~3% of my dps.

For that reason i no longer use glyph of lightning shield.

Glyph of stormstrike is one ive admitedly completely overlooked, i currently use Windfury (although it is apparantly bugged and doing fuck all atm) lava lash and flametongue. I would be reluctant to change any of this but such a huge portion of damage comes from lightning bolt and earth shock now, it may be worth investing in.

In short: im open to opinions :p

I didnt put my talents in static shock because it does barely any more dps, so i could get my instant gw aswell for a bit of pvp.
I would put talents in static shock if you are going for the highest possible dps for enh shaman, when you are max geared/gemmed/enchanted.

Glyphs I use:
Major:
- Glyph of Stormstrike
- Glyph of Lava lash
- Glyph of Windfury Weapon (best imo)

Minor:
- Glyph of Ghost Wolf
- Glyph of Water walking
- Glyph of Water shield

Just picked some minor glyphs, don't think there are any better ones

Combining my personal EnhSim test with the amount of tests that ran on EJ, Glyph of Lava Lash is not the best option you can go with at the moment. Earth Shock was promising to be an amazing glyph but it's currently broken and it keeps getting changed on the PTR making it really out of the entire equation.

From what I've seen, the mandatories will be as soon as 3.0.8 go up are Stormstrike and Windfury. The 3rd option seems to be debate between Lightning Shield and Flametongue. The argument is that you might have situations where you're forced to use WS instead of LS if you're missing a replenishment (which is unlikely) and you will void your LS glyph if you do end up using WS. I'm also guessing that Static Shock will be much better once I get my 4-tier set bonus.

Also referencing your earlier comments about getting 2 points in GW to make your raid build PvP viable, I'd have to disagree on that choice saying it's much better for you, even if it's marginal DPS, to take points in Static Shock. I'd try the standard 18/53/0 build.

Further tests tonight suggest that I will be sticking to my Glyph of Flametongue weapon as the 3rd option. On a pug run on Brutallus, fully stationary without moving (no burns) and those were the results. Disappointing to say the least on static shock.



This was with Elixir of Mighty Agility, Elixir of Mighty Thoughts and Dalaran Clam Chowder. Fully spell hitcapped through raid buffs (IFF) and expertise capped. No BoK and no BoM. For reference also, a slow offhand.

I think I will run more tests if I get my hands on a better fast OH and maybe re-test the LS glyph when I get my 4-piece bonus.
