Surge of Light bug

Surge of Light: Your spell criticals have a 50% chance to cause your next Smite or Flash Heal spell to be instant cast, cost no mana but be incapable of a critical hit. This effect lasts 10 sec.

This is halfway into the holy tree, a typical disc build wouldn't be able to pick up this awesome talent. But I noticed yesterday that if there is a holy priest with this talent in the raid it will currently work for disc priests as well (maybe shadow as well?). It's also mentioned on wowhead so it's not just me seeing things

If there are two holy priests in the raid it's worth trying what happens if only one specs into surge of light, maybe the other one will get the procs as well. It might just be one of the disc talents that's bugged though, then CoH spammers will still have to spec into it.

Yes, this is a bug that has lasted through the beta. This is apparently stealthfixed in 3.0.8. Ultimately, I don't think it's a good idea to exploit a bug like this.

Do shadow priests get the procs?

Possibly, I haven't paid attention to it because it's not useful for us.
