Information you all know!

Currently a well known dps spec for mages is FFB 0/53/19 but you can change this around to suit your play type. For example; 0/52/19 like myself, Maggythemage has speced 0/50/21 for Double Icey Veins, you can also spec in Permafrost 2/3 to get 1 more tick on your fireball/FFB dot, 3/3 is a waste as 2/3 gives you the tick and extra does nothing.

Skills from other classes that Help! Over the past Few days I used(thanks guys/girls) other classes on the training dummys to check the Dps output for FFB! He is my current findings.

Rune of Razorice
Annorien on his Death Knight kindly Used this rune on this weapon and I must say the dps increase was insane about 600-650 dps, He did nerf his personal dps by 300dps, but 2-3 FFB mages the +dps to raid outweight the -dps from him, tho I would not ask anyone to do it without the need to. Thehe debuff is +5% frost damage, But like most FFB stats it gains more then 5%, I am not sure on the maths here as I have to do alot more tests and read 3-4 WWS reports to get the right %.(Crossing my fingers that he will do it for us in 25 man raids)
It increases Frost and Frostfire damage and stacks on top of all other debuffs.

More to come as I test them.

Currently mages get the following +Spell Power from these stats ->
Mage 0/53/18
Intellect // Spirit // Spell Power // Hit // Crit // Haste
0.28 // 0.00 // 1.50 // 1.99 // 1.02 // 1.06
Mage 52/0/19(Slow)
0.39 // 0.00 // 1.15 // 1.72 // 0.57 // 0.98
This also explains why Fivedollah is currently out dpsing us other FFB mages, Due to the fact that he gets more Spell power basic stats then we do, at the 2k spell power mark though we out dps him even if he has 2k spell power as well due the way all FFB scales with Spell Power.

DPS gains from Professions!

Jewelcrafting: +59 spell power with rare gems. +49 spell power (currently gives best Caster dps)
Blacksmithing: +38 spell power with rare gems socketed, +46 spell power once/if epic gems get implemented (this one is Second on caster dps due the fact all +sockets you can give your gear.)
Inscription +37 spell power, +43 spell power after the Exalted with Sons of Hodir.
Herbalism may offer something in the +33-40 spell power region via Fire Seeds if you can properly stack cooldowns, If you happen to Find some Please put into the GB will be usefull to caster dps.(like myself)
Enchanting +38 spell power, (your rings +19 each) All other enchants do not count as you can do them for others too.
Leatherworking +37 spell power
Alchemy +37 spell power.

Talient Points that Help your FFB DPS!
Spell // Talents // No 4xT7 bonus // with 4xT7
Frostfire bolt // ignite + burnout + ice shards + CSD //330% // 334%
Fireball/Frostfire bolt // ignite + burnout + CSD // 254% // 258%
Fireball/Frostfire bolt // ignite + burnout // 245% // 248%
Fireball/Frostfire bolt // ignite + CSD // 216% // 220%
Fireball/Frostfire bolt // ignite // 210% // 213%
I belive my maths is off by a little bit, only by a few odd .**

As you can see FFB Scales the best of all the spells with Spell power and Will do for a long time, as they have no plans to change it.

Other Info usefull to note

In combat you only drink 1 potion any type, BUT if you take one +haste or +spell damage Potion before you enter Combat then you still get to use one in combat and you get +6-7 seconds of the potion use just before entering combat.
