Win7 or ??

Ok i upgraded to win7 from my vista and I just have to say what a sweet os it is. I'd advise anyone running vista to upgrade to it also, had an xtra 20 fps in our 10 man this evening with full settings and shizzle.
Dont know if xp users should upgrade but if you got a dualcore and 2gig of ram I'd go for it if i was you.
So my advice is if you got vista, upgrade when you get the chance and if your an xp head do the same you wont be dissapointed.

if only I could afford it, running XP and it isn't as easy upgrading from that as it is from vista :<

yeah, ive like a 15-20fps increase using windows 7 now with settings on high! While i was playing with 10fps with settings on low on vista... tho if you have xp its probably fine for a few more years tbh (they stop updating in 2014 for xp i think).

Upgrading was easy (from vista), tho i wish i knew that it would automatically backup my most of my files and put it in the windows.old folder so i didnt have to waste all that time transfering it to my external harddrive!

I am probs gunna wait till win7 sp1 to ugrade from XP. I play full settings no lag as it is with same spec as u shiatan, I like that xp is easy to use as well, I can do what I need to

Been using the Beta wind7 since like mid summer and indeed its quicker and alot handier than vista, just gotto buy the real one :<

Yeah vista was killing me even with my i7 8gb of ram and 2x295s
Now wow's running 100fps+ with full shad and all

i hear theres not much point upgrading from xp to 7 at the moment unless you wanna play some heavey dx10 games and such, but upgrading from vista should be a given imo

VISTA WAS MERELY A SETBACK

if u dont have a portable hard drive for ur wow, at least make a copy of ur interface folder for the new install, then u wont have to set everything up again

If you have xp subie then theres realy no need to upgrade but if you have vista you can get the upgrade version that will install over vista with no loss of data or changes, even your desktop layout remains the same
